Mahnaz’s Persian cooking class in her Stockholm apartment was a highlight of our visit to Sweden. Not only was the food delicious but our wonderful host’s interesting conversation made for an entertaining personalized dining experience. Highly recommended.

Our Persian Cooking Class in Stockholm was definitely enjoyable for my daughter and I. We learned to cook several home cooked Persian dishes! Mahnaz shared her home and love of cooking with us! We also received some wonderful Stockholm recommendations from her!!! We’re incredibly grateful!!!

Highly recommend! We only had 3 days in Sweden; so, we had to carefully pick our activities and itinerary. This easy forest hike, hot sauna/cold plunge experience, and fireside-cafe lunch were altogether a fantastic experience!To start, Alexandra is a gem. She picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel, on time, and we didn’t have to navigate through any transportation issues. Alexandra was a great host — informative, helpful, willing to share her own experiences, asked questions, good communicator (Whats App beforehand and excellent English in person), very kind, and has a genuine passion for her work and sharing nature with others. It’s a private excursion, so it was just me, my husband, and Alexandra.It was only a short drive outside the city of Stockholm and we were in a beautiful forest with a glacial lake. A very scenic and peaceful excursion from the city.The hot sauna/cold plunge was a short drive away at another nearby lake. Our thought was, “when in Sweden, do as the Swedes do.” It was a very fun, very memorable highlight of our entire two-week trip! My husband and I had done hot sauna before, but neither of us had ever done a cold plunge before. While a bit nervous, we both did it with some bravery and gentle assurance from Alexandra who did it with us. The hot sauna was HOT, the cold lake was literally FREEZING, and the experience was incredible! We did it for two rounds (hot, cold and again hot, cold). We’d absolutely do it again! You should definitely try it!The lunch after was on the same grounds in a rustic counter-service cafe with delicious hot food menu options. It was the perfect way to wind-down from the activities.A 10/10 experience. If it sounds even mildly interesting to you, then you’re in great hands with Alexandra and you’ll love this Stockholm adventure!

We went to Sweden in the winter looking for beautiful snowy hikes, saunas, cold plunge, and great food. This tour had everything we were hoping to find during our entire trip! Alexandra is an incredible guide; knowledgeable, calming, fun. She has a clear appreciation for nature that made for a very peaceful experience. Highly recommended.

This was one of the best experiences of my life and we didn’t even get to see the Northern Lights. Erika was amazing at sharing her stories of Sami life, her journey and the Swedish culture in the north. The drive to Abisko was filled with conversation and education in a friendly way. Dinner was amazing and Erika went out of her way to stop many times in an attempt to find the aurora borealis for us despite the heavy cloud cover. Sad we didn’t get to see the sky dance, but would 100% recommend doing this adventure to anyone!

Yesterday our guide Ylva has brought us from Kiruna to Abisko, making us discover magnificent landscapes. Then we had a pleasant time talking about Sami people and enjoying a typical and very tasteful dinner. We recommend this experience.

This experience is a hidden gem, just 15 minutes from Stockholm — perfect for those who appreciate the healing power of nature and want an authentic immersion into Swedish culture, all in a very warm and personal way. Anika is a wonderful host: welcoming, attentive, and full of knowledge. Step by step, she gently guides you through a journey back in time as you explore the beautiful forest of Saltsjöbaden. The Swedish lunch by the lake was both delicious and a real highlight of the day. It was a bit too chilly for a swim this time — but maybe next time! After the hike, Anika introduced us to the traditional Swedish sauna experience, which was incredibly relaxing and truly healing. I’m already looking forward to doing it again and would highly recommend this hike and sauna experience to all nature lovers visiting Stockholm. It’s definitely something truly special!

A tree folded experience that exceed our expectations by far, everything from how well crafted the stories are to the beautiful settings, the campfire with the delicious food, swimming in the secret lake, and not the least Annikas friendly, knowledgeable and funny personality made us all become friends easily. (Oh, I almost forgot, the best hot chocolate I have ever had was served after the swim in the lake)Also the guided sauna was exceeding my expectations and opened a whole new world of well-being and rituals, and we all felt reborn afterwards. We will for sure return!!

Mahnaz is a warm and friendly host who instantly made our small family group feel at home. She encouraged us to participate (under her careful supervision) which made the experience truly individual. The food was fresh and delicious - with Mahnaz offering great tips on how to cook rice, salt eggplants and dice cucumbers. Sitting at the table with Mahnaz to enjoy our meal felt just like visiting an old friend; conversation flowed easily. I’m already looking forward to recreating the stuffed eggplants at home.

We had a wonderful time in this tour. It was the best of our trip in Stockholm. The company and conversations with Alexandra were super nice, the hike was amazing and the plung into the cold water after the sauna was surprisingly good. Also, don’t skip the food because it is delicious.

Mahnaz showed our party of four a wonderful time! We have had Persian food before, but we chose to learn about 4 completely new dishes (an herb frittata, braised chicken and steamed basmati rice, a diced vegetable salad, and Persian ice cream), which all tasted amazing. Mahnaz was the main cook, but we added a little help so we could better understand how each dish was made. We asked a lot of questions, and Mahnaz was so gracious to explain everything in such an easy way. She even sent us home with her recipes and some of her special ingredients for us to try on our own. We talked about food, family, culture, and traveling. It was an fantastic experience that we will not forget. Thank you!!!
