Top Sweden Multi-day Tours

The tour was exceptional, featuring impressive locations and outstanding service from both the tour director and our driver.

I booked this adventure fairly last minute after discovering I liked sea-kayaking and I could actually do it without capsizing. It was a fantastic holiday from start to finish. Do the North's website is very informative and I used this to find a good restaurant to eat in and for general sight-seeing in Norrkoping the night before we were picked up. I travelled solo but luckily was in a great group of like-minded people and we all gelled immediately. Our guides Thomas (the company owner) and Eva were brilliant and really took care of us. Thomas kept us entertained with amusing anecdotes, was affable and genuinely interested in his clients; and Eva was highly organised and had a fantastic cheerfulness that kept us all motivated through the tougher times. Such as paddling through the most torrential rain ever, which luckily didn't last for long. The equipment provided was very good quality with easy to put up non-leaking tents, clean sleeping bags, comfy mats, high end chairs, head torches and two 20l proper dry bags to store our stuff. Camping on massive slabs of granite above the sea was a revelation and surprisingly comfortable. The kayaking part was great with plenty of areas to explore amongst the 9000 islands in the archipelago. Each day we would find somewhere notable for lunch, such as a lookout point, or historical point of interest, and spend the afternoon choosing a suitable place to camp. The max distance we did in a day was 18.5 km, other days more like 12-15km. The scenery was utterly peaceful and felt like a true wilderness. Like any holiday of this nature there was a need to muck-in and help with cooking, washing up and packing communal items in the kayaks but that was all good fun. The quality of the food was very high, with gourmet recipes for every meal using tasty ingredients and a good ambience around the "campfire" (actually gas due to the very dry conditions and ease of use). At the end of the trip it was sad to part company from everyone as we had bonded into a great group full of humour and bonhomie. We will all forever remember with fondness Robert the smoked-fish man and his delicious offerings from Harstena. And the glorious sunsets and rainbows that characterised the trip. Definitely I would recommend this trip. Indeed I am considering a Do the North winter adventure in Sweden to do more wild camping and to see more of the beautiful nature of Sweden.

Although our trip was shortened due to bad weather, we had the best experience with get out kayak! Communication with the team regarding cancellation and refund was amazing. On arriving to base on the day we left Thea was incredibly welcoming and showed us a good route keeping in mind the conditions. Our trip involved a mix of cafe stops and secluded camps in gorgeous locations. Despite some choppy conditions our experience with get our kayak was a 10/10

From the Pickup to the Equipment and the Food everything was planned perfectly. The Guides suggested us a route but we were free to do what we wanted. Organisation was well thought through and very complete 😄 Tip: bring some Water shoes and a Hammock if you want a sleep alternative on sunny nights

Fantastic experience with guides Katha and Eva - who supported constantly in a low-key subtle way making every step enjoyable and I learnt so much! I kayak regularly but never camped and they were so kind and understanding - always there to help yet make it fun. Equipment and organization top class Would strongly recommend as guides to this beautiful area

This was an amazing trip - just don’t think of it as a holiday! We were skiing with sleds through deep snow to pitch tents which disappeared under more snow overnight. Temperatures dropped to -24 degrees! Definitely an expedition rather than a holiday, but the silence, the sparkling, powdery snow, the incredible warmth of our sleeping bags, the tasty hot food (always hot - no packed sandwiches here) and the confident, skilled leaders made this an experience I will always remember. After the expedition we had the delight of returning to our base hut complete with sauna and ice hole and a fabulous dinner (think IKEA meatballs upgraded by a chef!). The trip was well planned, equipped with top notch kit and expertly lead by Katha.

Excellent itenerary, beautiful places, nice and easy combination tour of nature and city, wonderful and safe drivers, bus was clean comfortable and new. Great tour guides/managers. Hotel are nice with good breakfast.

What an amazing trip! From the magical candlelit arrival at the cabin, which was our base. to the beautiful experience on the plateau, such brilliant experiences. We worked as a team to prepare for our expedition, all the equipment and the clothing, which we rented was top quality. We set off, for three nights camping, as the weather forcast was so good. Thomas and Katha were excellent guides. Northern lights and such impressive starlit skies, a once in a life time experience!

We really enjoyed our 2-day kayaking trip with Rene. The scenery is truly beautiful and kayaking is a unique and adventurous way to explore Sweden's archipelago. The trip included a few larger crossings but nothing we couldn't handle (with average fitness levels and while 5 months pregnant!), and we even saw a large seal pass right in front of our kayak (though understand that is quite rare!). Meals were organic and excellent. Overall, it was a great trip and Rene was a great guide. Would recommend!

Absolutely awesome experience. The weather and Archipelago really lived up to its promise. René was a amazing host and guide too. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to really experience this part of Stockholm!

We were one experienced and two inexperienced paddlers. Jasper, our guide, judged the pace and difficulty well. He also cooked beautifully and with imagination, catering at the same time for the vegan in our party. He clearly knows the archipelago well and he chose a good camping spot. We were blessed by the weather and the calm water - well done again Jasper! In all, a really good experience. I'll be back next year.

Well organized company. Safety first, nice clean equipment and plenty of fun. History lesson included in the 2 hours of kayaking around Stockholm central. You see the sites from a different perspective. If you like being in a kayak and on the water, the time will fly by!

My husband and I were visiting Sweden for the first time in July 2019 and came across this three day kayaking and camping trip in the Swedish Archipelago. What an incredible experience and privilege to have have done this trip. Our guide Rene was awesome and made us feel completely at ease. Stockholm adventures provided everything you could need from dry bags to spacious tents, mattress, sleeping bags etc. all meals included and every detail was thought of.We would highly recommend this tour to anyone seeking a true adventure in nature in an exceptionally beautiful part if the world.Thank you for an unforgettable experience.

I highly recommend the 3-day kayaking/camping trip. We had beautiful, sunny, warm weather and calm water as well as thunderstorms and some choppy water. But, our superb guide Eric had the training and the sangfroid to keep everyone and everything safe and in one piece while ensuring everyone had fun. He was also a wonderful chef and conversationalist…spurred on, of course, by the fun group of kayakers! The equipment (kayaks, paddles, tents, sleeping bags, etc) was top of the line. The whole experience was the perfect combination of relaxing and exhilarating!

Although I had done several day kayak trips this was my first multiple day, overnight trip- and my first experience of wild camping. I was slightly nervous but Get Out Kayak were amazing- from the top quality gear that makes the experience easier, to the reimagine and local knowledge which meant I spent the second day (the longest part of my trip) with a tail wind and in calm waters, they delivered. I would recommend this for solo travellers, but also for families and groups of friends. The scenery and nature is amazing and from a kayak you see it all. Great company, great location, great product!

We had the bestest of times - splashing around in the middle of nowhere dropping off for a sauna here a dip there its such an awesome way to travel - and Get Out were super organised but low key kept it simple super personable - will definitely be heading this way again :)
