Mahnaz’s Persian cooking class in her Stockholm apartment was a highlight of our visit to Sweden. Not only was the food delicious but our wonderful host’s interesting conversation made for an entertaining personalized dining experience. Highly recommended.

Our Persian Cooking Class in Stockholm was definitely enjoyable for my daughter and I. We learned to cook several home cooked Persian dishes! Mahnaz shared her home and love of cooking with us! We also received some wonderful Stockholm recommendations from her!!! We’re incredibly grateful!!!

Mahnaz is a warm and friendly host who instantly made our small family group feel at home. She encouraged us to participate (under her careful supervision) which made the experience truly individual. The food was fresh and delicious - with Mahnaz offering great tips on how to cook rice, salt eggplants and dice cucumbers. Sitting at the table with Mahnaz to enjoy our meal felt just like visiting an old friend; conversation flowed easily. I’m already looking forward to recreating the stuffed eggplants at home.

Mahnaz showed our party of four a wonderful time! We have had Persian food before, but we chose to learn about 4 completely new dishes (an herb frittata, braised chicken and steamed basmati rice, a diced vegetable salad, and Persian ice cream), which all tasted amazing. Mahnaz was the main cook, but we added a little help so we could better understand how each dish was made. We asked a lot of questions, and Mahnaz was so gracious to explain everything in such an easy way. She even sent us home with her recipes and some of her special ingredients for us to try on our own. We talked about food, family, culture, and traveling. It was an fantastic experience that we will not forget. Thank you!!!

We had a lovely cooking experience with our guide Mahnaz, the food we cooked was really delicious and we are already planning to try out the recipes in the coming weekend! Mahnaz is also a really cozy and friendly host, the conversation went on easily the whole evening.If I should give one suggestion for improvement, it would be to delegate some more cooking tasks to the guests😊 but we also understand that it's hard to find cooking tasks and split among four guests. Overall, we would really recommend you to book this cooking experience!

Great time spent learning how to cook Persian rice chicken and « côtelettes ». Mahnaz is a great cook and great at showing and sharing tips and tricks. Her house is well kept. The children had a good time too playing and helping a bit. Then the lunch was wonderful. The chicken and rice was amazingly tender and flavorful. Highly recommend

I went and learned to cook a few Persian dishes with Mahnaz, she was very welcoming and kind. Before the event, she worked with me to ensure I liked what we would make, asked about food restrictions and allergies. After agreeing on the menu, I showed up following the directions which were straightforward, and meet up with Mahnaz, we had some short introductions, she had some tea and a snack ready, then she presented two options: we cook together, or she instruct me and I cook. I opted for cooking together. We chatted and cooked, tried the food, and added more spices as needed. After a bit over an hour, we had a delicious meal we had made together. She shared some non-alcoholic apple cider and we chatted some more over our dinner. She took care of the clean up and sent me in my way.Overall it was an awesome experience, ai learned 4 new recipes (one starter, a main, a sauce, and the rice), I'm already recommending this to my friend who lives here in Stockholm, and I recommend it to you, if you're in the area!

My boyfriend and I took this Persian cooking class to celebrate our anniversary, and it was such a great experience! Mahnaz is so kind and made us feel completely at home in her beautiful apartment. We made a delicious lamb stew, and she showed us the proper technique to get the tahdig nice and crispy. It was really nice being able to expand upon our existing cooking skills.The class was hands-on but relaxed — it felt like spending the evening with friends rather than being in a formal class. The meal we shared at the end was so good!If you’re looking for a unique, meaningful, and delicious experience — especially for a date or special occasion — I can’t recommend Mahnaz and her class enough!

I enjoyed a most insightful and stimulating cooking lesson with Mahnaz, whom I found to be a most professional and informative host. I was inspired to replicate the recipes at home and this experience stood out as something unique and adventurous as my delightful visit to this beautiful and vibrant city. Cozy evening with Mahnaz with many discussions about everything. We talked more than cooked;-). Mahnaz had already prepared a lot when we arrived and it felt like we were at a friend’s house cooking for us. Very nice evening and good Persian food.

Cooking with Manhaz was an exceptional experience! Her love of her homeland is evident in her cooking and her stories. Do not hesitate to book this. You will not be disappointed! It is a short ride just outside the city center, Manhaz makes you feel welcome and at home, and she is a great cook & teacher. Everything was absolutely delicious!

Mahnaz is AMAZING! My wife and I enjoyed this experience just a few days ago and it was the highlight of our trip to Stockholm. Besides being a world-class cancer researcher, Mahnaz is a world-class cook and teacher. She hosted us in her home for three hours, created a custom Persian dinner menu with four courses and told us amazing stories. We shared a lot of laughs and learned to make and ate some amazing Persian dishes. Her apartment is easy to get to via several public transit options. We've taken cooking classes around the world; this was one of the best! Strongly recommended!
