We did a tour with Bruce while visiting Halifax on a cruise, and it was such a great experience! When we came off the ship, he was waiting for us with an umbrella because it was pouring rain and extremely windy.Bruce picked us up in a comfortable van and took us to many different places throughout Halifax, explaining the history and significance of each stop along the way. Because of the weather, there were times when getting out wasn’t ideal, so he would roll down the window and make sure we could still get a great photo. He knew all the best photo spots and even gave us tips on how to capture the perfect picture!We ended our tour at Peggy’s Cove, where we had about an hour to explore. It was the perfect amount of time to see the lighthouse, walk around, visit a few shops, and grab something to eat.Bruce made sure we were back at the cruise port with plenty of time before we needed to board the ship, which gave us peace of mind.If you love sightseeing and taking photos, this is definitely the tour for you. Bruce was knowledgeable, accommodating, and made the most of a very rainy and windy day. Highly recommend!

What a great way to leisurely see points of interest and learn things at one’s own pace. There was free street parking near the starting point. The “guide” provided interesting facts along the way, and we saw some things that we would have missed otherwise. The Public Gardens are phenomenal. P.S. We are boomers and found the audio your tour to be very user friendly to download, set up, and use.

Not sure why I didn't find this wine tour on my first search for Halifax tours but happy it showed up when I searched later. The wine country is really pretty, the wine tasty, and we learned we like sweeter wines. Stephanie did a great job of coordinating the tour so that we knew exactly where to meet her at the port. Her background in wine was very helpful in explaining the Halifax wine industry. The drive was beautiful and the conversation great. We had seen Peggys Cove so were happy to find something less touristy. Recommend this tour!

Our favorite part of the tour was Peggy’s Cove. It is a charming fishing village with a wonderful historic lighthouse. We also enjoyed the public gardens. The flowers were beautiful even through the pouring rain. The citadel was interesting and our driver timed it so we were there for the firing of the cannon at noon as well as changing of the guard and the playing of the bagpipes. We had a great tour.

Our private tour with Claudio Benigno turned out to be a truly wonderful day. The man is a font of knowledge....funny and engaging and shared his true love of Nova Scotia with us. Our teenage grandson, who is a lobster lover, was delighted with our little stop to see the "lobster whisperer " and learn a lot of interesting details about lobster. We saw so much, both historically and of the beautiful scenery. Was so disappointed with Peggy's Cove...so overrun by tourists. The beauty of that fabulous location is spoiled by all of the hustle and bustle. It was a delightful day and we are so happy you matched Claudio with us!

Our family of four had James tour us around Pier 21 and the Museum of Immigration and it was great. Knowledgeable, personable, good story teller and informative. We had a great experience and learned a lotIn advance we had sent details of our family histories and Carrie-Ann did a ton of research and provided us with great information. A bonus was getting a big printed bundle waiting for us when we arrived at the museum.

The app was easy to navigate and great! I was only able to do 2/3 tours but then later in the day, I would pass a landmark and the app automatically would start telling me about the history! Made my time much more enjoyable and made me appreciate Halifax even more!
