Windy, but wonderful drive out to Peggy’s Cove. Lighthouse was fun to walk out to. Fishing boats, colorful homes along the harbor, and a long horn being played by a costumed character. I had forgotten about the Swiss Air disaster, but very touched by some momentos left by families of those killed in crash. The Titanic cemetery never fails to be impressive when you think of the mistakes that lead to all the lives lost. Great driver with lots of knowledge about the area.

We wanted to visit Peggy's Cove and Swissair Memorial and Titanic Cemetery were added bonuses. Well worth the experience! Arjun communicated via text before our excursion, so we were reminded just where and when to meet. Arjun's knowledge was informative and was just the right amount. Being in a Ford Transit van gave us an advantage of visiting the Swissair Memorial, as the parking lot is tight and did not see any buses stopping. The Half Day excursion was a good amount. It moved along yet not rushed. We were a full van, so while tight, we were still comfortable. Maybe 12 would have been ideal, verse 13. Great experience overall. Would definitely recommend Alpha Travel & Tours!

Great Small-Group Tour with an Excellent Guide
We had a wonderful time on our Peggy’s Cove tour with our driver and guide, Brittiany. She was very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable, and shared many interesting stories about Halifax along the way, including the Halifax Explosion and Halifax’s role in the Titanic recovery efforts.I also really appreciated how thoughtful she was with everyone in our small group. One guest had injured her ankle, and Brittiany showed genuine concern, checked on her, and made sure we waited for her so she didn’t feel rushed.For reference, we paid about C$140 for two people. The total driving time was just under two hours round trip, and we had about one hour at Peggy’s Cove, which felt like enough time to explore, take photos, and enjoy the scenery. We also grabbed a lobster roll there for about C$32.Overall, it was a very enjoyable and well-organized experience. We learned a lot, had a great time at Peggy’s Cove, and felt the tour was well worth it. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Halifax.
