This was an excellent tour. Bike was a bit clunky but did the job. Fascinating information and idiomatic and eloquently delivered. Water provided. Found myself entranced by what I learnt. Lots of places to nip to the loo on the tour!

A very entertaining time with Laura, our guide. We were introduced not only to some experiences of what and where to eat in central Bucharest, but also a couple of other shops and markets which we otherwise would not have known to look for. This included a great sweet shop selling artisan bon bons. It might have been more fun to have a progressive meal - visiting more than one place for the dinner courses. However, that would probably be difficult to organise on the budget for the evening.

A must-do if you love history.
Alex was beyond amazing. So much history and information. He was exceptional with knowledge and was able to answer every question. He really knows the Romanian history and culture and shared with enthusiasm. We have done many tours in many countries and Alex has raised a high bar. He thought of everything and it was the perfect pace. He even made local recommendations. We couldn't be happier! I can't give this tour and Alex enough stars.

We wholeheartedly give top marks to Elena. She was much more than we had expected and gave freely of her charm, knowledge, enthusiasm, and sheer personality. The time we spent with her went by so quickly and the insight she gave us into Romanian culture history and life today was invaluable on our first day here in her country. Plus we had an added bonus in that we were the only three on the tour, making it even more of a special occasion. We thoroughly recommend both the tour and Elena.
