The host Sophie was absolutely fantastic at her job, getting to know each of her guests in turn and managed to get everyone to interact and we very quickly became a bonded group. The wine was limitless and she remembered exactly what each person was drinking each time she came to top up. The cheese was excellent too and lots of it. Sophie was also superb as a guide pointing out all the well known landmarks on the canals with a touch of humour. Would definitely book this again and would highly recommend it .

This was a very nice way to see Amsterdam from Canal level. Staff was very welcoming and new Amsterdam history well. Our hostess through in a few laughs as well. Wine and cheese option was a nice touch. The glass of wine never sat empty.

We were very lucky to be the only people on the boat. ( And for it not to be raining) . Found the place easily. Guide very friendly and was a nice one hour trip around the canals of Amsterdam.

Santiago was a great tour guide! I was nervous at first but once we got underway everything was fine. Just stay to the right on the path.

Fascinating and memorable exhibit. Highly recommend. Nice little cafe and beautiful garden to enjoy as well.

The tour overall was very good, slightly touristy locations but that’s what we signed up for. I think the guide Claudia was what moved the tour in the excellent range. She show great knowledge and enthusiasm dispute the fact that this was probably her 500th visit to the locations. She was bet approachable and answered all questions with a high level of knowledge. I would certainly recommend her to anyone.

We had a lot of fun on the tour. Great food (and drinks), weather was accommodating and Sabrina, our guide was funny, knowledgable and great to speak with. I now know why the carrots areorange!

We had a fantastic canal cruise in Amsterdam on Tuesday, 15 September 2026. It was one of the highlights of our trip and definitely one of the best experiences we had in Amsterdam. Our lady captain was absolutely fantastic — very friendly, professional and cool. She had a beautiful English accent and gave us lots of interesting information about Amsterdam’s history, as well as recent events and interesting places and venues around the city. We really enjoyed every minute of the cruise and would definitely recommend this tour to our family and friends. A big thank you to the captain and the Cool Destinations team for such a wonderful experience! 🚤🇳🇱❤️
