In addition to salmon, the sound is also home to steelhead, sea-run cutthroat trout, halibut, rockfish, lingcod, and Dungeness crab. These species offer anglers a wide array of fishing opportunities, from trolling for salmon to bottom fishing for halibut and lingcod. Puget Sound's rich ecosystem and abundant fish populations make it a prime destination for anglers of all skill levels.
