The Douro Valley is recognised worldwide as one of the most desirable river cruise destinations. But it's away from the hustle and bustle of the city and river traffic that our experience takes on a different flavour! Here we are in a green area, a natural park, where silence and peace are needed to enjoy the gustatory pleasures of our "Menu". Music can be played to your heart's content, connected via "Bluetooth" to our sound system.

What To Expect
Being close to the city, you won't see any buildings or crowds of people. Here, nature reigns so that you can truly experience the other pleasures we have prepared for you.
To make your departure a relaxing moment, we'll serve you an elegant "Taylor's Chip Dry White Port" in a perfect blend of "Fever Tree" tonic water. To accompany this refreshing drink, some toast spread with green olive paste.
We set sail, admiring the ‘Carrapatelo Dam’. Further upstream we anchor in shallow waters surrounded by a unique landscape where only silence and a few birds will keep us company! The perfect moment to try our special ‘Rosé’ from ‘Quinta do Vallado’, a single variety ‘Touriga Nacional’. To accompany it, some delicious ‘Bolinhos de Bacalhau’, in true Portuguese flavour.
We continue along the famous river beach ‘Praia da Lomba’ with its picturesque hillside houses. Just in time to savour a white wine from the Douro with a peculiar grape variety: ‘Moscatel Galego’ accompanied by the world-famous ‘Portuguese canned Sardines’! On our way back, Portuguese charcuterie is served alongside a magnificent red wine from ‘Casa Ferreirinha’, one of the most prestigious estates in the Douro.

If you have any doubts about becoming seasick on the water, we recommend taking a Dramamine® Motion Sickness Relief tablet the night before your trip. Some people recommend taking it the night before your cruise and then again that morning so you will not feel so drowsy.
