Kayaking and Waterfall in Peneda-Gerês National Park from Porto

Amazing day spent knowing Gerês and enjoying the piece and quiet.
Kayaking was very relaxing an fun and Nuno Miguel was always very pleasant. He accompanied us but let us play around and enjoy by ourselfs. Then he showed us a waterfall and lagoon and even helped me adventure through a tight place to reach a jumping spot that I wanted to go to. He then added another stop due to the time still allowing. The food was amazing and always very thoughtful.

It can be a difficult and steep hike if you are not in shape. Wear good shoes and bring plenty of water. So glad I did it though, very beautiful lagoons and waterfall. Beatriz, our guide was phenomenal!

Small Group Geres National Park Full Day with picnic from Porto

Worth It!!
Beautiful beautiful tour! The park is incredible and the lagoons were stunning. The hikes are relatively short, but do require gaining elevation on the way back from the lagoons. Plenty of time to swim, explore, and relax at each stop. The lunch was great and Daniel was a great guide. He was very friendly, accommodating to the groups needs, and very knowledgeable about the park and wildlife. The groups are eight people max which is the perfect size for getting to know each other.

Fun porto walking tour
Ricardo was an amazing tour guide! He was very knowledgable with Porto history, patient and flexible with our pace (we had our 2 yr old with us), and has a warm demeanor. He is friendly and kind and we wish we had more time in Porto after Ricardo’s introduction to the city. Highly recommend him to guide you to Porto’s highlights.

A Very Special Tour Guide
Ricardo is one of these people who in 5 minutes it’s like talking to a good friend. He seems to know everything about everything. The tour around Porto was exactly what we wanted. We were able to see everything in the tour books on our own. Ricardo took us to very interesting places that we never would have seen. We’re now the day after the tour, and Ricardo is still sending us suggestions for Lisbon and Algarve. And checking to make sure we’re ok. Wonderful tour guide and special person. Highly recommend.

Delicious Porto food tour
This was our second tour with Pepe. We chose a food tour to do with him after doing the Douro River with him the day before. He scheduled the day perfectly for us. We went to small local spots and tried many local dishes. The choice of food and small local eateries were just what we wanted and got us out of the tourist area. Pepe is a perfect local guide and will plan your day just the way you want and what you were expecting to see. All of his tours are personalized. I highly recommend!
