Absolutely amazing experience. We were looked after so much. Fantastic lunch and the staff even took us across the river to the bus stop as it was difficult to get an uber back from the side of the river we were on. Exceptional customer service. 5 star.

Our boat trip from Marina da Lixa to Zona Ribeirinha do Inha along the Douro River was nothing short of magical. As the sun set, we sailed peacefully with a fantastic captain and enjoyed some of the finest wines Porto has to offer. The experience was serene and unforgettable. If you’re visiting in late February or early March, you’re in for a treat—the weather is perfect, and the nature reserve is wonderfully quiet. You can hear the gentle rush of waterfalls, the songs of birds, and even catch glimpses of fish leaping from the water—all while sipping wine and soaking in the beauty around you. We can’t recommend it enough!

This was a brilliant tour and the highlight of our trip to Porto. Henrique was a brilliant guide - really good at explaining things, very knowledgeable about the local area and a genuinely nice person. We were on the tour with a lovely Portugese family and Henrique spent time with everyone ensuring we were all up to speed and confident paddling before we all progressed together down the river. Definitely recommend this tour!

The location is just beautiful and SUPing is basically anything you want it to be. It can be relaxing, challenging and funny! There are enough opportunities to swim or just take a break and float. But the best thing was our guide Henrique who was funny, understanding and helpful in the best way possible. I would and will recommend this tour without a doubt!

First review for this amazing trip! We had the perfect day out with Serafim and Elisa on their beautiful boat. The scenery was picturesque, the river inviting on such a hot day, the hospitality exceptional and the trip was so relaxing.As a couple we were looking for something unique, where we could relax, enjoy the river and unwind after a busy few days in the City.Elisa looked after us so well, offering tapas, port, beer and amazing wine throughout the day, as well as providing us with towels to dry off after numerous dips in the river.We loved taking the SUP down the river after we anchored at a perfect spot and drying out on the sun deck with a wine in hand.Elisa and Serafim went above and beyond, organising a taxi back to the airport for us after our adventure, and our day was so relaxing.Thank you, we can’t wait to come back and share this amazing experience with our friends!

Henrique was an awesome guide. We communicated back and forth several times before the outing, as we were trying to find a spot without too much wind. Pickup was prompt, we talked about life in Portugal, and the equipment provided was all in great condition. Once on the river, he pointed out wildlife and told me more about Portugal. 10/10 would recommend.

5 Star experience. Henrique calmly led the trip and had great knowledge of the history and culture of the region. He went out of his way to satisfy our particular requests regarding pick up and drop off. Communication prompt and precise!

Probably one of the best organised activities I have done, and I have done a few! Henrique and the team were excellent, we had such a great time on the river from start to finish. Can't recommend the activity and Henrique and his team enough, absolutely brilliant!

We had such a fun trip, one of the highlights of our trip to Porto. Henrique was a great tour guide, not just teaching us how to paddleboard but also giving us some great recommendations for where to eat and what to do while in Porto. Even helping us out with some Portuguese vocal and pronunciation! We really appreciated it and he was just good fun to hang out with. Plus, the Paiva is a beautiful, gentle spot to paddleboard, the drive out showed us some more of the scenery and we got some girgeous photos from our trip. I highly recommend this to anyone going to Porto!

I’m really glad I found this tour during my stay in Porto. I ended up being the only one on the tour. Which was really great, as then the tour guide, Henrique, allowed me to set the pace for how fast or slow to go. The Paiva River is the perfect river for paddle boarding, it was calm and quiet in the morning. And the surrounding scenery was beautiful. If you want to get out of the busy city of Porto and get on the water this tour is the one to take.

Great relaxing day on the Paia river. Easy communication, pickup, and top notch equipment. I found myself commenting frequently how I have never been on a better inflatable SUP. It was perfect for the gentle river. My guide was very knowledgeable about the river and hosts other locations and I'll be back for sure on my next visit to Porto area. A+++
