Guided Horseshoe Bend Petroglyph Kayak Tour
Overview
Explore the stunning landscapes of the Colorado River on a guided half-day kayak tour that reveals the majestic beauty of Horseshoe Bend.
Starting at Lee’s Ferry, a scenic motorboat ride takes you upstream to the base of Horseshoe Bend, where towering sandstone cliffs rise dramatically above the crystal-clear waters. Discover ancient petroglyphs etched by Indigenous peoples before launching your kayak for a 10-mile paddle downstream.
As you navigate the river, enjoy breathtaking views, spot Desert Bighorn Sheep or wild horses, and take a refreshing swim at beautiful beaches. Your guide adds a splash of fun with optional kayak water-gun battles, making this adventure a perfect way to cool off in the summer heat.
This tour takes between 3.5 to 4 hours.
