My husband Jim and I felt so lucky to have had Elsie as our Beauty Way tour guide yesterday. We could tell that she was still in love with Canyon de Chelly where she grew up and loved sharing it with us. She was a wonderful guide and thankfully an expert driver. What a great and informative morning we had! The tour was even better than my highly anticipated expectations!

Canyon de Chelly is a place we’ve always wanted to visit. It did not disappoint. Leone was an excellent guide. I really enjoyed her stories about the area. We definitely picked the right tour company.

Very thorough and complete tour. Numerous opportunities for photography. Cannot see the canyon by driving the rim road. You have to get down in the canyon. Guide very knowledgeable and personable. Vehicle was very clean. Drive can be an experience if you never drove in the west. Can hot bring plenty of water.

Trip was with Beauty Way Jeep Tours. Our guide was Emily and she was excellent. Told us a lot about the history of Canyon de Chelly, drove the 4X4 Jeep into the canyon through muddy stream crossings and never missed a beat. Very confident young lady with a great personality. We enjoyed the tour and would recommend Beauty Way Jeep Tours (try to get Emily as your guide). Beauty Way Jeep Tours is a local company that is owned and operated by a Navajo family with roots in Canyon de Chelly and all of their guides live and work in the canyon.

Canyon de Chelly is a beautiful and sacred place. You have to see it to appreciate its profound impact We had an outstanding experience with tour guide Reginald. He was knowledgeable, personable and professional and an all around kind human.

Very informative about not only the canyon and its history, but also about the Navarro Nation. Our guide war the companies son who was very personable with many interesting stories and anecdotes. My family and I definitely recommend this guided tour.

Excellent experience to feel the majesty of the Ancients and ways of living. Richard, Navajo, our guide on our private tour if the canyon floor was very informative. Have seen many SW canyons but to experience the majesty of the past abd present, thoroughly enjoyed this unique experience. Glad we had ice teas and hats. Wish l had brought binoculars and worn high top boots...sink in sand when walk.

Yesterday we took in the sights of our own reservation surroundings. It started out with a TikTok video I saw last year of Beauty Way Jeep Tours doing a promotion during the Chinle Fair. A quick phone call two days ago and I was able to reserve a Jeep for an early morning tour. Thankful for our tour guide, Arianna Yazzie whom shared her own personal experiences within the canyon. She still has her family living within the canyon @ Antelope House. With cloudy skies overhead, we drove in for our 3 hour tour. The canyon gives off so many different hues from various angles, so captivating on camera and in videos. It was a beautiful day for a tour. Highly recommend as they offer hiking, private tours, and camping.

What an amazing morning. The canyon is just stunning: the pictographs, petroglyphs and ruins were fabulous, but the highlight of the entire morning was listening to our guide recount her childhood memories of growing up in and around the canyon. She knew this place inside and out! We loved her stories passed down through multiple generations of family/ clan living in canyon. Irene, thank you for a truly memorable experience. I wish I could relive it all over again. Amazing morning with an incredible guide!

This tour of Canyon De Chelly with Delvonnia Yazzie far exceeded our already high expectations of what we would experience. Her knowledge of every inch of the canyon, gained from a childhood living in and around the Canyon and enhanced by research powered by her innate curiosity, taught us not only about the geology and history of the peoples who lived in and around the canyons but also a wider understanding of ancient and present experiences of native peoples. It was absolutely the highlight of 5 days in northern Arizona and New Mexico.

My sister went with an older gentleman named Perry, he had grown up in the canyon and had so much personal experience to add to the tour, it was wonderful to hear how the canyon had changed over the years. He brought a pointer to make sure we saw all of the petroglyphs and told us all about their stories. It was fascinating to see all that history right there in the canyon, I'd absolutely go again!

I'm sorry for taking so long to write this review - the tour was pretty much perfect in every way and I couldn't find the words - but procrastination has to end sometime, right? Anyway, this company came highly recommended by someone who had taken multiple tours with them, and our experience exceeded our expectations (we are a couple, and one of us generally doesn't like guided tours). On a cold, windy, gray day, we hopped in and out of a toasty Suburban to examine some of the thousands of archaeological wonders of Canyon de Chelly under the guidance of our funny, erudite, and kind guide, Leander Staley. He didn't talk at us, but to and with us. The conversation was stimulating as well as informative. We were especially impressed by his respect and reverence for the place and its people that permeated the day, and with the ease with which he communicated not only with us but seemingly with all the people of the canyon - past, present, and future.Our tour lasted four hours, by the way - the company is very flexible and presents several options for duration and group size.

This was an absolutely great way to see the canyon floor. Our guide on the tour was Leander, who also happens to be the owner of the business and is a local native Navajo. We learned a lot about the Anasazi who first lived in Canyon de Chelly, as well as the Navajo who came later. Leander knows a great deal about native archaeology and anthropology and was fantastic. I highly recommend the three-hour tour to anyone wanting to experience the beauty of Canyon de Chelly. You can follow it up with your own leisurely drive around the canyon’s rim.
