Tasting of Organic Mezcales
Overview
This experience organized by @Etnofood and @EspacioMezcal (Instagram) is unique because it is hosted by young members of a social enterprise focused on promoting mezcal culture. The hosts are children, volunteers, or members of the mezcal cooperative, all aiming to foster mezcal culture and encourage the consumption of local products.
The experience is truly one-of-a-kind because, as hosts, we want to share the culture of mezcal through an immersive journey of flavors and knowledge, set in a specialized mezcal bar with a curated collection designed to enjoy mezcal as a unique beverage.

What To Expect
The Organic Mezcal tasting is an activity developed at etnofood and Espacio Mezcal that begins with an encounter with the best of Mezcal culture in a comfortable space focused on mezcal culture.
In the experience we will taste 3 different mezcals (or other artisan distillates) while we talk and learn a little about their production method and about agaves.
Each mezcal is made by different producers, mezcal cooperatives or small producing families from Oaxaca. In this experience the most important thing is the desire to know the diversity of flavors, aromas and textures.
In this experience we seek to teach you about the unique gastronomic heritage of Oaxaca and the richness in the great diversity of plants to make mezcal, we will tell you about the history of the culture and all the flavors that you will find in a mezcal, in addition to sharing our private mezcal collection.
In a few words, there will be a tasting of Organic Mezcales, a talk with mezcal stories, recommendation of mezcalerias and some welcome surprises to our city.
