Mezcal Experience Mitla from Oaxaca CentropaolahA4336AO, Sep 2026
I love the culture of mezcal
Honestly, it is one of the best experiences I’ve ever had in the world of mezcal.Noble Coyote and the Monterosa family preserve and share the traditions, the culture, the harvest prayers, and the deep bond with the agave. But the experience goes far beyond the mezcal itself. One of the things that surprised me most was the hike through nature and the chance to enter the caves, where we discovered cave paintings, saw baby bats, admired the mountains, and simply breathed in the fresh air.Afterwards, we witnessed a divine sunset and—to top off an already extraordinary experience—enjoyed a dinner by the light of the full moon. 🌕✨Wow! It was truly spectacular.Without a doubt, an unmissable experience for anyone wanting to discover, enjoy, and connect with the history, nature, and essence of mezcal.

Ask for Miguel…….
We had a great tour with Miguel. You need to make sure you he’s your local guide. So much knowledge on the area and Monte Alban and this history. He’s got a gear sense of humour and we loved the trip.

Amazing experience
We were lucky, because we were just the two of us, so we had basically a private class :). Oscar was a really nice host, he explained everything, and even more. In the market he intruduced us to different ingredients and talk about how to use them. During the cooking part, we were part of every process, and meanwhile we were cooking the rest of the team made sure we had everything and cleaned every time it was needed. We made two appertizers, a soup, a main course and even a dessert!

Love the info from the artesans
Blown away from all we have learned about the techniek the different artesans have and how they explained us.have so much more respect about their craftsmanship.
Company communication between us and tour guide was not ok. They have us a different tour schedule then tour guide and when I asked why we didn't go to that place.respond was not client orientated.company can do this better.this would totally not be an issue if the just had given the proper program

Walking mezcal tasting Oaxaca TourAndre_B, Sep 2026
Great intro to mezcal
Currently a whiskey drinker who was interested in mezcal. Learned much about the different varieties of mezcal and was able to learn what to look for and was able to find what my mezcal preferences. This tour gives you an opportunity to try different mezcals from different bars which is (to me) much better than a production tour .

Homero, the super guide!
Homero was an incredible driver/guide! He speaks little English, but I speak conversational Spanish [and understand plenty] so we all had a terrific time. He's an area native so pointed out numerous points of interest. We received great insights. Great experience!
