What To Expect
Day 1. Departure from Marseille for Avignon, cooking workshop in the heart of Les Halles with a renowned chef. Discover the market and cook seasonal produce. At 1 p.m., direction Châteauneuf du Pape: visit to the cooperative cellar and the wine museum, discovery of local wines and tasting. Visit of the Tavel cellar, Vacqueyras / Gigondas: wine tasting. Return to Marseille. Night at the hotel. Free time for lunch.
Day 2: Departure from Marseille. Visit downtown Aix-en-Provence: mansions, Cours Mirabeau, Place de la Rotonde, St Sauveur Cathedral, fountains, calissons and souvenir shops ... Free meal. Departure for the Lacoste castle. Visit of the art exhibition at the "Domaine" and wine tasting. Return to Marseille. Overnight at hotel and free time for dinner.
Day 3: Departure from Marseille for Cassis by the Gineste road. Visit of the Cassidain market, discovery of local products. Free time for lunch. Visit two vineyards for a wine tasting. Ridge road for an incredible panoramic view of the highest cliffs in Europe. Return to the hotel.
