Leeds Self-Guided City Walking Tour & Scavenger Hunt
Overview
Leeds grew up on wool, rebuilt itself on culture, and hasn't stopped since — a northern city worth every bit of the journey.
This app-led scavenger hunt takes you through Leeds on foot, using phone-based riddles to guide you from one landmark to the next. No guide, no fixed start time.
• Chase riddles to the Grand Theatre & Opera House, Leeds Cathedral, and the sculpture Winifred — art, faith, and civic ambition on one route
• Walk through Leeds whenever you're ready, guided entirely by the app
• Great for groups of all sizes and ages
Around 2 hours, any group size, available in English.
Yorkshire gets the scenery, Leeds gets the culture — and this walk gets both.

What To Expect
Starting at Drapers House, 10 York Pl, Leeds LS1 2DS, UK, open the Explorial app and enter the 6-digit game code that you received by text and Viator chat message. The riddles take you through a city centre packed with Victorian ambition and contemporary energy.
The first clue leads to the Grand Theatre & Opera House Leeds, a magnificent 1878 Victorian auditorium whose ornate facade and gilded interior have hosted opera, ballet, and theatre for nearly 150 years and remain at the heart of the city's cultural life.
From there the app guides you to Leeds Cathedral — St Anne's — a Gothic Revival Catholic cathedral that sits quietly amid the city centre's commercial bustle, its carved stonework and soaring interior offering a moment of calm amid the city's pace.
The route then takes you to Winifred, a public sculpture that has become one of Leeds' most talked-about additions — art in the streets of a city that takes its creative reputation seriously.
Around 2 hours on foot through the compact city centre. Leeds is a very walkable city with good cafes for a mid-game break.
