You will discover the beauty, magic and simplicity of making cheese at home. Learning the two basic procedures for making most cheeses around the world, acid and rennet coagulation, you will be encouraged to continue exploring recipes at home.
Enjoying the cheese tasting with the group will be a way of further learning and enjoying a great social experience with the group.
De Kaasserie is a place of food, creativity, and community, you are welcome to enjoy them all.

What To Expect
You will learn how to make your own cheese in a food design studio in Amsterdam. You will make two types of fresh cheese, first one coagulated with rennet and then one coagulated with acid.
When finishing their acid coagulated cheese, participants are encouraged to experiment with herbs and colours.
There is then a tasting with home made cheeses and a drink to finish up.
Participants may take with them their two cheeses and the basic tools and receive recipes (via email) in order to continue experimenting with cheesemaking at home.
It's a beautiful experience, the discovery of a craft and an open door into a whole new world possibilities. To be empowered make and create your own cheese at home.
