This tour is well organized, perfectly paced, and jam packed with Mexican History, art, culture and scenery Not to mention the serenity of the the butterfly sanctuary and mingling with the beautiful people of Mexico. As was said in a previous review "we came away as friends ". Thank you Jennifer and Adrian for my cherished memories. Peggy

We were thrilled with the tour.our guides were so knowledgeable and passionate at each stage of the adventure. Mexico's diverse terrain from sea level up and up and up across the Sierra Madres. We felt safe, were encouraged to fully experience diverse geography, communities, cities large and small, and taste various cuisines. The climb by car, horses, and our own feet, higher than Machu Pichu, will remembered forever, along with wondrous views of the glorious Monarchs. We may well book again next year! Thank you Jennifer and Adrian!

This was an amazing visit to the butterfly sanctuary! I'll never forget being surrounded my thousands of monarch butterflies and holding some of them in my hand. Elvis was my trusty helper to get me to the top via horseback and hiking. We also visited Patzcuaro, Copper City, and Morelia while on tour, and Ulisses was a great tour guide, showing us these beautiful parts of Mexico, bringing us to excellent places to dine, and being a safe driver all the way. Highly recommend this tour!

This was such a wonderful experience. Ulises and Elvis took great care of us ensuring comfort and safety while showing great cultural stops along the way to the butterfly sanctuary. We not only saw millions of monarchs but experienced Patzcauro culture, Copper town artisans, Old Town in Morelia and great food along the way.

This tour is Magical from the start to the end. Yes, the Monarch Butterflies are the main reason to take this journey but there is Magic everywhere in Mexico. My wife and I chose this tour because it offered more than just visiting the Monarch Butterfly Sanctuary. The Pueblos Magicos cities we visited have so much to experience. They are filled with History, Culture, Architecture and people. Jenifer and Ran enriched our journey sharing their love of the places we visited. Our group was great. The Mercedes Benz Sprinter Van was comfortable. The hotel in Morelia was located in the Historical Center. It is clean and in a safe area. The days are long. The drives are long. The horseback ride was more uncomfortable for me than I had expected. The hike at 10,000 feet was strenuous for me. Ran and Jenifer were watching over me. Ran found a walking stick which helped a lot. I road the horse back rather than hike down. It was far easier than the ride up. All in all, my wife and I had a magical experience.

I highly recommend booking this 3 day Magic of Mexico and Monarch Butterfly Tour with Kaleidoscope Tours. Jennifer does an excellent job of providing a multi fauceted, hands on experience, rich in culture, local arts, and regional culinary specialties. Captain Ran is a delight and made our city walking tours so much more interesting with his obvious knowledge and love of the culture and rich history of Michoacan and Mexico. Our visit to the Monarch Butterfly Sanctuary was wonderous as the weather cooperated and the butterflies were active. Both Jennifer and Ran were very accommodating to everyone's physical abilities and so knowlegable about the region. We were fortunate to have a great group of people on the tour with us as well. This was an unforgetable experience for me. The tour does include a lot of walking at high altitude and many areas have traditional cobblestone surfaces. Wear good walking shoes and dress in layers with comfortable clothes!

This was a great trip! Ulises gave a 5 star tour of the colonial towns of Michoacán. Accommodations in Morelia were very comfortable and we always felt safe and well cared for. The butterfly experience is not to be missed and we enjoyed the restaurants Ulises suggested. I would highly recommend this tour.

Ulises and Elvis gave us an excellent experience. The Butterfly Sanctuary was amazing! We saw millions of monarch butterflies! The hotel in Morelia was nice. All the restaurants we went to were very good. Walking tours of Morelia and Patzcuero and Copper Town were interesting. The van was pretty comfortable for all the hours of riding, and Ulises was an excellent driver.

This tour was much more than the monarchs! We saw and experienced so much more. Cap’n Ran is a history guy so history, culture, food. An all inclusive three days to not worry about a thing! Jennifer made sure of that.

This was an incredibly memorable experience! The trip far exceeded my expectations. Jennifer & Adrian are stellar and fun guides; knowledgeable in Mexican history, culture and butterfly ecology! They were attentive to our food and site interests, modifying the trip to make it personable, aiming to please. I highly recommend this tour and look forward to another one.

The 🦋butterfly trip was a beautiful reminder of transformation and freedom. Surrounded by nature, we witnessed how something small can become something truly amazing. It was a peaceful and inspiring experience we’ll always remember.

Ulises, Orion, and Ulises Jr were great tour guides. They were very accommodating and helped with interpreting. The travel time was longer than estimated. It was 3 long days driving with a few stops to break it up. Take lots of Dramamine. We missed some of the stops because of the travel time. The stops were worth the trip. Morrelia, the crafters, and the butterflies!Ulises was very patient with our limited ability to walk very far. The trip was enjoyable and I would definitely book another tour with Ketavi Tours.

We had such an awesome experience on our tour. Jennifer and Adrian are fun, patient, knowledgeable, and flexible. They have created a thoughtful iterinerary that provides an opportunity to see unique places in a busy 3 days. Communication prior to and throughout the trip was excellent. I like to try to see and do as much as I can when I commit to a tour, and this opportunity to visit Pueblos Magicos and the butterflies was perfect. Even when there were some minor glitches like an unexpected flat tire, Jennifer and Adrian took care to make sure that our experience was a positive one. I wouldn't hesitate to use Kaleidoscope Tours in the future for another adventure.

We had a wonderful tour. Ulysses organized events & excursions for us each day. We especially enjoyed seeing the Monarch Butterflies & our time spent in central historic Morelia. Traveling in the van was comfortable & we enjoyed getting to know & spend time with the two other couples on the tour. The places Ulysses arranged for us to eat at were so different & provided a culinary cultural experience. The butterflies were breathtaking & magical.

This was a great experience. Jennifer (the brains behind the operation) and Ran (the driver and guide) were a great team with a whole lot of knowledge and more importantly there was a touch of personality, humor and friendship throughout the whole tour. It felt more like a fun road trip than a clinical moneymaking tour-machine. Jennifer seems to go to great length to make sure you are comfortable and happy, and Ran is a lovely, funny and helpful individual. The first town we visited (Patzcuaro) were amazing and beautiful. The butterfly sanctuary was an amazing and awe-inspiring place. The hotel we stayed at were nice.If I had to mention something that I would change it would be: - I would really welcome some more time on your own in Patzcuaro - The town of perpetual Christmas was not super interesting
