Absolutely Outstanding Tour, Must Take.I have travelled the world and availed of many a tour and guide but this one stands out. I cannot say enough about how good the guide Sasha was, conversationally, in vehicle comfort, knowledge and hospitality setting up a well-paced schedule with just the right amount of seeing and showing with local guides at each stop, yet enough time to oneself. I was amazed that we were able to cover beautiful Western Ukraine in a 5-day circuit originating and ending in Kyiv.DAY ONE picked up at the hotel and we drove west on fairly good roads, by small towns, golden domed churches, blue domed churches, sunflower fields, to the gorgeous town of Kamyanets-Podilsky around a deep canyon with a most picturesque castle even more alluring with night illumination, a historic Dominican monastery, a Cathedral and Armenian curch.DAY TWO we drove by the Dniester River to the strategic Khotyn Fortress which had its strategic role in many an empire over centuries. On to the city of Chernivsti with its iconic City Hall, a distinctly border feel adjacent to Romania, the impressive National University campus buildings a UNESCO heritage site. It had personal significance for me as the birthpalce of my physician mentor. From there we drove by small towns to the foothills and then into the gateway town of Yerimche nestled in the cooler Carpathian mountain geography, dined at a memorable place by the river. DAY THREE started with enjoying a waterfalls ( ?on the River Prut), a wooden church, drive to the city of Ivano-Frankivsk with its beautiful city center sqaure, a great pedestrian shopping street full of people! and the old town hall. On way to Lviv we went by Galicia of erswhile kings, along the Dniester River with its pedestrian bridge. We hotelled in pretty much the center of Lviv with its cobblestone streets, a distinct ambience, charm, milling with people, surely half of them visitors. We dined at a "partisan" restaurant fully in character with servers in rebel uniforms, kalasnikovs and all. Coffee was in a dungeon-like relication of a mine! Friday evening throngs around the Opera House made me take note that Lvivians and their visitors know how to have fun. DAY FOUR was spent seeing Lviv, a large city-----St George's Church, the Hill with views of the city, the cemetery which is a worthy tourist site in itself, the Mayoral building, time to wander and admire the squares, the architecture and people-watching, ending in a delicious dinner at a Rib place. DAY FIVE was driving back to Kyiv stopping at two Castles, the ruins of an Army fortress, a unique straightline railtracks with a canopy of trees making a "tunnel of love" popularized in a Japanese film, an excellent lunch stop along the highway for borsch and dumplings, fields of sunflowers in bloom till the eye could see, going by roadside stalls selling fresh produce, fruit. We got back into Kyiv at about 930pm. It had been the most memorable 5-day tour I have ever taken anywhere.Credit goes to the guide Sasha and the company Green Tour Ukraine. I can't believe that more people do not know of this gem of an offering. No better way to see Western Ukraine------and it is worth seeing.

Our guide Angelina was extremely resourceful, she was aware of all the great spots for photography as well as planning the trip efficiently to avoid other tourists.

Nina was the most knowledgeable and caring tour guide Angie and I ever experienced. We learned so much, she had a great sense of humor and full of anecdotes.

I just finished a wonderful, four-day tour through parts of Ukraine and Moldova and a strange place called Transnistria. Transnistria is an unrecognized country within Moldava's borders, aligned with Russia. Many wonderful places were on the itinerary. The biggest attractions for me were the amazing fortresses and the churches. The fortresses were exceptionally well-preserved, giving a sense of what it was like to be there. Many of the beautiful churches, both Roman Catholic and Orthodox, were recreations of their former selves. The orginals were destroyed by the Communists when the Soviet Union flourished. It is real testament to the faith and dedication of the people to raise the funds to rebuild these churches.Because no one else signed up for this tour, I had a private one with my guide Dimitri. He was very knowledgeable about the areas visited, being both an historian and journalist. He had everything well-organized, and controlled our time without being controlling. He also introduced me to Ukranian food, which was delicious, and the wines, especially at the Cricova Winery in Moldova. The tour there was excellent.The hotels in which we stayed were satisfactory but not exceptional. Breakfast was included and provided a good variety of choices. The drives at times were quite long but necessary to see as much as possible of the countries visited. Kudos to Dimitri for his safe and expert driving.For those visiting Kiev and also want a chance to see other surrounding countries, I highly recommend this tour.

We did the overnight tour with Alex as our guide and had an unforgettable experience. We went to so many different places and had experiences you definitely wouldn’t get with one of the bigger companies where you turn up on a bus with 30 other tourists. We were just four people and it meant Alex was able to tailor the visit to us, and we covered three days worth of places in two days. Most of the places we visited, we didn’t see any other people there. Food was not great and I was tempted to mark them down for this but overall I was still very happy with the tour. They shouldn’t take people to the local canteen for breakfast though as it was inedible. Dinner was fine and I even got a vegetarian option. Bring LOTS of snacks!! (We did stop at a couple of places where we could buy snacks too)

We took a two days one night tour to Lviv 30 Aug to 1 September 2019. We came back yesterday after an excellent trip. All went exactly as planned. Everything was very well organised and our guide Nina was very knowledgeable and cooperative. Hotel was also excellent, breakfast, staff and room all were very good and we enjoyed our short stay there. We saw all the popular places and also had enough time to ourselves to do shopping and spend the free time. I can recommend this trip to my friends and colleagues without any hesitation.Thank you very much Olga for everything you did for us.

I am so happy that I chose Trips to Chernobyl as my tour company since it met all of my expectations and even more. The two day tour was organised in such a way that we saw all expected locations and also saw other interesting places that I personally never heard of. That's why I recommend taking a 2 day tour - this way, you won't rush and will be able to experience the atmosphere of CEZ to its fullest. Our guide Natalia was very helpful and provided us with many interesting facts and stories. She surely made our trip :) Also thanks to our driver Victor, we made it on time to all locations and enjoyed our ride in a comfortable bus. It's also worth mentioning that the meals were included in the tour. Still, if you have some preferences, make sure to discuss them with the guide beforehand. There are not so many accommodation options in Chornobyl, but the hotel exceeded my expectations. Just keep in mind that the bathrooms are shared, but this was not an issue even though the hotel seemed to be fully booked. Overall, if you have a chance to visit the exclusion zone, don't miss it. Its atmosphere will remain with you for a long time and I surely know that I want to come back for a longer time and explore Chornobyl even more.

I have only positive memories from the tour!Guide Natalia was extremely pleasant, cheerful, and informative. We had a great program and visited many places. I recommend taking a tour for 2 days, if possible because one day would not be enough. We lived in the hotel Десятка, food was included and was quite tasty. There was also a clean and tidy bus and a nice driver Victor. My friends and I went in April, and we were lucky to be in a small group of 10 people, which made the trip even cozier.Great tour, recommend!

We absolutely loved this tour. Our guide Alex was very friendly and knowledgable and ensured that we had the best experience possible. We saw lots of sights that we didn’t expect to be able to see and could not have been happier with the experience.One bit of feedback that may be helpful to others going on this tour- take plenty of food with you. On the first day you will meet at 8am and not eat until the evening and on day two, lunch is at around 4pm after an early breakfast. There is the chance to buy food from a small shop in the exclusion zone so ensure you take this opportunity otherwise you will be very hungry!All in all an excellent tour that we would highly recommend. Very amazing tour. Pick up service from and to the hotel was perfect and on time. To go by the modern intercity train was exciting. In Lviv I had a very friendly and competent tour guide who show me the secrets of the beautiful Lviv.

The surrounding area was well-kept and clean. Maintenance was on-site when I checked in to make sure AC was working properly (no problems there, we were cold during our entire stay). The placement of the cottages is such that you have to close the curtains at all times or the neighbors can see straight in, and vice versa. We stayed in the cottages as a special treat for our son’s birthday and because we went to Worlds of Fun two days in a row. Check-in time is an hour later and check-out time is an hour earlier than I normally see, but I bet it’s closely related to the park hours. Still a little inconvenient seeing as the property is much more expensive per night than the average hotel or Air Bnb. You’re paying for location, and it served our purposes, but we won’t do it again!

At first we wanted to take an excursion for one day, it's good that we changed our mind. They really wouldn't have had time to see everything. In the morning a bus was waiting for us, we did not travel long, took a nap, watched a film about the explosion. After checking into the room, the program began. The group was of different age, but everyone was almost delighted. I will not describe the route and the objects, go and see for yourself, it must be seen once. I read a lot about Chernobyl and Pripyat, but being there and personally observing not transferable sensations.

The most powerful excursion in the last few years. On my birthday, my friends gave me a certificate for a two-day tour to Chernobyl. I went on my own, not a minute was bored, the organizers were very sociable and the group was friendly. It turns out that we know so little about this tragedy. The lifeless objects are intriguing, there weren't too many at times, especially in the kindergarten in the village of Kopachi. In the evening of the first day, we dined with our whole group, over a couple of glasses we shared our impressions. I am ready to go on such trips at least every weekend
