Top Trinidad Eco Tours

This was one of the highlights of our visit to Trinidad! The tour was well organized, covered a great variety of sights, and gave us a wonderful introduction to Port of Spain and the island's rich history and culture. Our guide, Khaleel, was outstanding. He was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so much interesting history about Port of Spain and Trinidad in a way that was engaging and easy to follow. You could tell he genuinely enjoys what he does and takes pride in sharing his country with visitors.I also appreciated that he gave us plenty of time at each stop to explore, take photos, and enjoy the surroundings without ever feeling rushed. At the same time, he kept the tour running smoothly and on schedule, which made the entire experience stress-free.Khaleel was friendly, personable, and had a great sense of humor. He made everyone feel welcome and created a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere throughout the day.I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Trinidad. It's an excellent way to see the city, learn about the country's history, and experience the local culture. If you're lucky enough to have Khaleel as your guide, you're in for an informative, fun, and memorable experience!

I had an amazing experience. Diane was so warm and welcoming and Dave was a wonderful and informative guide. Diane makes the most amazing iced tea as well. I will be back. I learned a lot.

Wonderful experience. A must do in Trinidad. I booked this tour with Tebet tours a very reliable and affordable tour agency Highly recommended.

A hassle free day out from collection from the hotel to the return flights and the pick ups from Trinidad. Prenka, our guide, absolutely great, nothing was too much fuss and even gave me a surprise visit to the Queens Park Oval cricket ground. Full on day with some good stops and food and the swamp boat tour to see the birds, was a nice finish to the day.

Marcus chose an excellent first tour for my visit after learning what I’m interested in seeing while on the gorgeous island of Trinidad. His arrival time to pick me up was at the exact time and the drive to Caroni was very pleasant with him explaining what I would be doing there. This was an incredible tour. The staff were very concise with their instructions, very patient with allowing guests time to capture the scenery with phones/cameras, and quick to spot any wildlife that may have gone unnoticed. The boats were comfortable despite having ~30 guests onboard while having minimal impact on the sanctuary environment. This was an exceptional introduction to the uniqueness and beauty of the country of Trinidad and it was very evident that the people were proud of the sanctuary and the work done to preserve it.

Easy to access; very nicely laid out to see Hummingbirds and other bird as you trek through the forest. The Guide Dave was the best!! His Bird calling abilities were amazing to watch!! Dianne the host was great and very knowledgeable and accommodating!!

Professor Theo is an amazing teacher about all things related to hummingbirds. The gardens are beautiful and the light lunch was delicious. Hummingbirds are everywhere you look and there are so many opportunities to take great photos and videos.

I’ve been hiking and seen waterfalls before but this was truly a special moment, the hike was very manageable and the waterfall was beautiful. We even went for roti afterwards!

We take 4 trips with this company and we recommended it for their professionalism. Well done everybody, keep it that way!

Nick was great company, very responsive and hugely knowledgeable. He’s been in TT tourism for over 20 years - lots of great stories and information! Our tour took us to Las Cuevas as the conditions were favourable and the journey much shorter (around 1hr each way from Port of Spain). We arrived and met our guide, Arlene. For the next three hours we were up close with enormous leatherback turtles digging their nests, laying eggs and covering their tracks. It felt like it passed in a moment - extraordinary. Would highly recommend!

This experience was amazing and special ❤️❤️🐢🐢 Guides were knowledgeable and able to answer everybody’s questions Great driver who was very knowledgeable during transportation

I could have stayed and watched the hummingbirds all day. This tour was the highlight of my trip to Trinidad. I share stories of the experience as often as I can and encourage people to visit for the education, home cooked meal and friendship. You will want an experienced guide and driver to get to the house. Mine was both.

This tour was a chance to see the history and culture of Trinidad. Gunda was a great host knowledgeable and made sure I experienced the food and experience Of Trinidad

Lovely, relaxed time birding and enjoying nature. We loved that the setting is a bit off the tourist path, it's unspoiled and genuine. We saw at least 5 hummingbird species. Diane is a lovely host, the refreshing drink at the end was incredibly tasty!

We went with Khaleel, he was a fantastic guy and a wonderful guide, really easy to understand an flexible to make our day perfect. We really enjoyed the whole day!

We had a day trip where our guide, Jenelle Guy, picked us up at the airport and then drove us into the mountains to Asa Wright Nature Center. We had a hike with a guide from the center, which was very informative. Jenelle also told us much about the nature, but also Trinidad's history, politics and culture. It was fascinating. She also arranged for us to eat some Doubles, Trini's delicious breakfast snack. We were finally taken back to Port of Spain for a night's lodging. You can't miss with this tour company-professional, safe and reliable. And Jenelle was top notch.
