Top Trinidad Boat Tours

The swamp is amazing. Mitch, our driver, is the best! He was super friendly! He is a true king. He is the best.

I had a great experience with Mitch! He certainly went above and beyond. First, he got us to the boat tour on time. He is extremely friendly and during the drive gave some interesting information about the history and culture of Trinidad. After the tour, he took us on an impromptu trip to get food and drinks. It was an overall awesome experience, and I will definitely book a tour with Mitch next time I am in Trinidad.

This was one of the highlights of our visit to Trinidad! The tour was well organized, covered a great variety of sights, and gave us a wonderful introduction to Port of Spain and the island's rich history and culture. Our guide, Khaleel, was outstanding. He was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so much interesting history about Port of Spain and Trinidad in a way that was engaging and easy to follow. You could tell he genuinely enjoys what he does and takes pride in sharing his country with visitors.I also appreciated that he gave us plenty of time at each stop to explore, take photos, and enjoy the surroundings without ever feeling rushed. At the same time, he kept the tour running smoothly and on schedule, which made the entire experience stress-free.Khaleel was friendly, personable, and had a great sense of humor. He made everyone feel welcome and created a relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere throughout the day.I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Trinidad. It's an excellent way to see the city, learn about the country's history, and experience the local culture. If you're lucky enough to have Khaleel as your guide, you're in for an informative, fun, and memorable experience!

Loved the tour and our guide was amazing ñ. It was a great experience I will repeat it when I come back.

Wonderful experience. A must do in Trinidad. I booked this tour with Tebet tours a very reliable and affordable tour agency Highly recommended.

A hassle free day out from collection from the hotel to the return flights and the pick ups from Trinidad. Prenka, our guide, absolutely great, nothing was too much fuss and even gave me a surprise visit to the Queens Park Oval cricket ground. Full on day with some good stops and food and the swamp boat tour to see the birds, was a nice finish to the day.

Marcus chose an excellent first tour for my visit after learning what I’m interested in seeing while on the gorgeous island of Trinidad. His arrival time to pick me up was at the exact time and the drive to Caroni was very pleasant with him explaining what I would be doing there. This was an incredible tour. The staff were very concise with their instructions, very patient with allowing guests time to capture the scenery with phones/cameras, and quick to spot any wildlife that may have gone unnoticed. The boats were comfortable despite having ~30 guests onboard while having minimal impact on the sanctuary environment. This was an exceptional introduction to the uniqueness and beauty of the country of Trinidad and it was very evident that the people were proud of the sanctuary and the work done to preserve it.

Driver Keith was great about getting us there ontime after re-booking and the drive was great! The boat ride started out very hot with the blazing sun but got much better. Lots to see and watching all those birds flood to the one spot was an amazing sight to see at the end!!

Unforgetable views of scarlet ibis and pink flamingos, as well as many other creatures in their natural habitat made this a wonderful experience.

Very HOT day and the kayaking can be strenuous across the lake. We saw a few scarlet ibis and had a blast! Taking the tour in the evening when the birds are returning is likely better but we were in a cruise and didn’t have that option. Highlight was seeing this silky ant eater! Guides (Dominick) were professional and bus ride from ship was short. Would do it again. Great value!

With everything limited due to COVID 19 we decided to have a girls cruise and contacted Island Experiences, their staff was friendly and gave us all the information we needed. This cruise was exactly what we needed through all the crazy!! From start to finish it was amazing! I would definitely recommend this cruise to anyone.

Hans is the BEST!! Highly recommended. He was professional, the boat was clean... Outstanding! My wife and I agreed that by far this was the best day/ excursion out of any/ all that we ever did. We were early and the boat was waiting for us, the boat and captain exceeded our expectations for a private excursion. WELL worth it. If you have a group, the cost per person is comparable to most of the top excursions so why be with the masses, go private, the price we paid was worth every penny. Great day on the water; Hans, took us to the best beach we had seen in Trinidad... Thank you “Down the island tours call 782-2785” for this unforgettable birthday gift.

The tour was great! Very informative and so relaxing just to be in nature. I was particularly impressed by the level of service given by Mitch in arranging the pick up from and to our door even though on Cool Destinationss website our area was not within pick up range. It was unexpected and greatfully recieved. One thing that I would say is that I was glad I found the contact number for Mitch (took me a while) and dealt with him directly as when initially dealing with Cool Destinations my queries were not answered. Their customer service caused me to be quite frustrated to the point of cancelling my tour. However glad I persisted. Well done Mitch, keep up the good work! THANK YOU.....definitely recommended.

10/10 experience!! This was honestly one of the best excursions I’ve ever done. We got to see so much wildlife alligators, little snakes, crabs, catfish, clams, flamingos, and sooo many different birds. It was such a cool experience seeing everything up close in its natural habitat. Also the swamp was full of mangroves it was mind blowing. The person who organized everything was AMAZING. He went above and beyond to make sure we got there on time and made it home safely. Since I’m young and not familiar with traveling around Trinidad, he communicated with us every step of the way and made the whole experience stress free. He even provided water, mosquito repellent, and arranged a reliable driver for us, which I really appreciated. The tour guide was also incredible. He was super knowledgeable and made the tour so interesting by explaining everything we were seeing, good personality he made funny jokes. On top of that, the pineapple and mango chow was SO good!If you’re visiting Trinidad, I 1000% recommend booking this tour. You won’t regret it!
