Perfect tour for anyone who loves history and architecture
Absolutely perfect tour for someone who is very much interested in history and especially medieval history. Adrian was a great guide who was very knowledgeable and it was wonderful to hear all the stories he told on the way to Corvin castle and during the tour. He definitely knows history. If you are pondering what tours to book to see castles, book this one. It's definitely worth it!

An Amazing Day!
We had a fantastic day with Adrian visiting Peleș Castle and Bran Castle in Transylvania. From collecting us at our hotel in the morning to delivering us safely back at the end of the day, everything was seamless and thoroughly enjoyable.Adrian’s knowledge of Romanian and Transylvanian history was superb, and he brought the stories, places and people to life with genuine enthusiasm and fascinating detail.Just as importantly, he was brilliant company throughout the day - friendly, engaging, good-humoured and an absolute pleasure to spend time with. Adrian really made the whole experience special, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, personable and first-class guide. Thanks again. Sherry & Alistair

Amazing personalised trip
We had an amazing day with Bogdan, he was very knowledgeable and made the whole experience feel personalised. Unfortunately we couldn’t go to the lake or the top of the road due to snow but we didn’t feel short changed at all. Bogdan introduced us to typical Romanian food and the gorgeous papanasi dessert.

Personal trip from Brasov with Florian.
We had a wonderful day with Florian, who was very knowledgeable about the local areas and places we visited. He had the inside information on the range of places we visited and made sure we were not caught up in crowds etc. He made our visits to the mountains, glacier lake, horse stables and monestary memorable. We would highly recommend him if you want a personal, well planned and friendly guide. ⭐

Bear sanctuary, food festival, Bran castle
The guide Ramona is very knowledgeable and explains the historical context of the area while en route. I was keen to know more as she makes it interesting. The castle was the highlight for us both, and we learned about the mythology based on actual history now intertwined with the legend of Dracula. Fascinating. Part of the tour includes some hills and steps to climb which are manageable. On the day we went there was a food festival which we were able to visit, though this meant that as a result of the queues of traffic it was not practical to drive to the mountain villages. We experienced a very good tour overall, good value for money and I would definitely recommend. Thank you!

Two interesting and historical cities in one day
This was a relaxed and excellent pace of touring 2 old, yet lots of unique character, and historic cities of Viscri and Sighisoara. Our guide and driver Alex catered the tour to our liking. He was kind, patient, and unhurried as we carefully took on the many steps/stairs and cobblestones walk during this tour. We enjoyed our free time and delicious lunch with our guide, Alex. We can recommend this tour.

Night Tour in Hoia Baciu Forest

If you go down to the woods today......
From making our booking, through to arranging timings and pick-up Alex was super helpful. Picked us up right at our hotel and then a short drive to the forest. It was dusk, so we were able to see it where we were. Then we entered the forest.....and it got darker! What's not to like about wandering through a forest in the dark, with a guide like Alex who would stop to point out strange and interesting trees, tell folkstories of creatures that can haunt and taunt you. Alex told us history of not just the forest, but of other people who had become dedicated to recording "activity" in the forest, with accompanying pictures too! Whether your into UFOs, folklore, paranormal or just being in nature...at night, then this is right up your strasse!

What an awesome day. Adrian was an excellent guide, so knowledgeable in Romanian history. The day was so interesting as we learnt the history of each castle we visited. The 3 castles were all so different but all were well worth visiting. The restaurant that Adrian took us to for our lunch was fantastic. The food was lovely and all the staff were very friendly. Thank you Adrian for making the day so memorable.

Wonderful Experiences with a Knowledgeable Guide
My group of three did a slight customization of this tour and it was absolutely incredible! Liberty was a beautiful experience where we saw and learned about the bears; Bran Castle (while crowded) was a fun adventure; and Prejmer had a fascinating history with beautiful architecture. Ramona was a fantastic guide and she made sure to communicate with us so we would know what to expect (including buying tickets for Liberty ahead of time) and helped to customize this tour with a visit to Prejmer Fortified Church instead of Poiana to make the best of our experience. Would highly recommend Day Trips Brasov and if we come back, we will definitely book with them again!!
