An Epic Day in Trinidad ~ Memories to Last a Lifetime with Island Girl Tours!
One of the greatest highlights of my life involved David, Anna, and the entire Island Girl Tours team! They left absolutely nothing to chance and made our full-day tour of North Trinidad truly EPIC. We had family and friends visiting from the UK and the US, and boy, did we create memories that will last a lifetime!Thank you, David, Anna, and the entire team for your incredible attention to detail. Thank you for accommodating the impromptu pickups and drop-offs and for going above and beyond to make sure everyone was taken care of. From beginning to end, the team kept the entire day absolutely spectacular.Needless to say, whenever we have another opportunity to tour beautiful Trinidad and Tobago, Island Girl Tours will definitely be hearing from us!And not to sound cliché, but we truly feel like we gained extended family through this experience. If you're considering booking with Island Girl Tours, do not hesitate. You will be thoroughly taken care of, from your very first contact with the team until the last person is safely dropped off.Thank you again, Island Girl Tours, for helping us create memories we will cherish for a lifetime. Many blessings to the entire IGT family! 🇹🇹❤️

Just the best in Trinidad and Tobago 😎
Picked up from my hotel. Just in time. Water, rum punch, other drinks and the food are included.. seen many waterfalls and beaches. Much explanation about the island's flora and fauna. I did a tour to their island with other tour operators, they are really the best.

Ellis Clarke is the best guide in Tobago!

Ellis Clarke is the best guide in Tobago!
We had Ellis guide us around Tobago 13 years ago. He was wonderful then and even better this time. He picked us up at the airport and took us to our bnb stopping at the grocery store. He picked us up the next day and we went to the Argyle falls. It had rained heavily the days before so the water was muddy. Ellis walked with us pointing out the plants and birds. Then we went through the forest preserve and saw wonderful greenery. Out of the forest we stopped at the hummingbird sanctuary and everyone was able to hand feed the hummingbirds! An unbelievable experience. On the way to the boat we stopped at some beautiful bays. Next we got some awesome local food and went to the glass bottom boat to go snorkeling on the reef and the nylon pool. Incredible!! Ellis is the best there is. I would definitely ask him a third time the next time go to Tobago.

The Real Tobago
My wife and I actually did several of the Island Girl tours during our 3 month stay in Tobago and they were all absolutely fantastic. Island Girl Tours is definitely a "go to" resource for Trinidad & Tobago. David & Anna love Tobago deeply and it shows. They showed us, not just the tourist sites, like Fort King George and Argyle Falls (which were wonderful), but they introduced us to local people so we could get to know Tobago through the eyes of the people who live there - Allister, the coconut man, Miss Shurland, who runs the hummingbird sanctuary (incredible experience). They took us off the beaten track to hidden palm fringed beaches, with golden sand we had all to ourselves. We ate incredible, delicious street food and they recommended great local restaurants. Their main focus is Tobago, but they also arranged a 3 day tour of Trinidad for us.One of the great thing about Island Girl tours is that they customized destinations and activities to suit us. I'm active and adventurous. My wife has mobility issues. David & Anna made it work for both of us.Highlights: Shurland James Hummingbird Nature Park, walking on unspoiled undeveloped beaches, the trails of the Main Ridge Forest Preserve, Feathered Friends parrot & macaw rehabilitation center (Trinidad). And most of all the warm, friendly people of Tobago.

The Superhero Ellis Clarke
In the first half hour of meeting Ellis on this day tour, you will think you have known him all your life. What a gentleman and family man, Ellis was very knowledgeable and tailored the tour to suit our needs. Also on two separate occasions Ellis appeared when other operators had left us stranded and got us back to our hotel. My wife says he's her superhero. Don't trust a tour to anyone else, what's app Ellis Clarke on Cool Destinations . Neil and Sandra, Bognor Regis

Hummingbirds were excellent!

Hummingbirds were excellent!
There was some miscommunication between Cool Destinations and the tour company - we booked the Waterfalls and Hummingbirds, but the tour company were told Tobago Highlights. We only realised half way through when we thought we were running late. However the guide (Edith) extended the tour and still took us to both places. The waterfall was nice. about a 30 minute walk with a guide, and then 30 minutes to swim in the (cold) water. The Hummingbirds were excellent. One of the highlights of our whole trip to Tobago. A note for photographers: You are very close to the birds. I used a 100-500 zoom, but a 70-200 would have been just as good. You need to stop down the get enough depth of field for the whole bird to be in focus. And even 1/8000 shutter didn't freeze the wings. Better to use 1/2000, accept a bit of blur, and have less noise

Wayne was brilliant
We had a change of plans as we were going to pigeon point beach. Then found out a cruise boat had docked into Scarborough. So we decided to visit the Rain forest instead but we were too late for that day. Until Wayne came to our rescue. He drove us along the Caribbean coast then we went into the rain forest. We saw many birds that Wayne spotted for us, so knowledgeable. The best was the hummingbird when it hoovered it had white tail beautiful. We saw a few crabs in their holes but we do have a lot of crabs in the uk. On the way back I had a snake coming straight for me, was I scared No as it was no bigger than a worm nut a snake a snake. On our journey back Wayne took us down the Atlantic side of the island showing us many sites & rich people homes again. We stopped off at the King George fort the views were lovely & we saw Cruise liner. Well worth £75 each & such a character

Amazing Island Tour around Tobago
The tour was fabulous! I can highly recommend it to anyone who wants a great overview of the island. Terry is an incredibly kind and knowledgeable guide who shared so much insight about Tobago. He was a pleasure to chat with and an excellent, very safe driver. Communicating with him was also very easy via Whatsapp.During the tour, you get a detailed look into the island’s colonial history and visit pristine beaches such as Englishman’s Bay, Charlotteville, and Parlatuvier Bay. I even got to see stingrays! Terry really knows his way around and always makes an effort to show the best photo spots. Thanks again for choosing such an amazing lunch location!

Little Tobago Glass Bottom Boat Tour

Slice of Paradise
Little Tobago is a little slice of paradise you don't want to miss. The view from Blue Water Lodge took our breathe away , like a location for a Bond film. Our guide Edith was delightful and paced our hike slowly on the yellow tail trail to accommodate my husbands asma and lent me her umbrella to aid steep path. The effort was worth it, to see a Red Bill on the nest and Frigate birds chasing them to steal the fish just caught. Spotting a Mocking bird 🐦 nearby was a bonus. Although the water was too choppy to snorkel we gazed at tropical fish including trumpet fish and soft coral from the glass bottom boat at Angel Reef 🐟 . So enjoyable we did not want ti leave , so stopped for a light lunch at Blue water. Driver Lindel was helpful & grest at avoiding potholes. The tour was a birthday treat hard to beat. 🎁 0

An excellent excursion
We had an excellent guide Edith who gave us a lot of interesting information about the culture, sights and nature of the Tobago island. We visited a lot more than what was mentioned in our program and learnt a lot about the habits of the people as well. She even spent more time showing us the sights than what was foreseen in the program. I can really recommend this excursion for everyone who wants to have a general overview of the island and its beautiful scenery.
