Very good trip try and take drink with you

The boat trip with our captain Nicola was fantastic. With nine on the boat (two families with adolescents) we left Taranto and sailed out onto the Ionian Sea. Partly at a leisurely pace, partly at an enjoyable higher speed, we sailed further away from the coast. In the clear blue water we had a wonderful view of dolphins swimming in front of and around our boat. Really beautiful. Then we dropped anchor at a quiet spot for a swim. We loved our time there. We found our favourite bar for breakfast and aperitifs. Fantasy in Via Ciro Giovinazzi. Also loved Sandrino bar for gelato drinks and nibbles on the main drag. Must sees the magnificent museum and Catle Aroganese. Must to the tuk tuk type tour. By tickets direct near the castle as its E5.00 cheaper. The Cathedral is wonderful too. A totally fab trip. Thanks to Downtown Lodge Museum apartment. Compact, fully equipped and helpful, friendly host.

We spent a weekend in Taranto...and we couldn't have hoped for a better day than this...Nicola, in addition to being the captain, is also super company and super organized for every eventuality.I recommend you try this experience...we will be back definitely (especially in costume)

I gave my boyfriend a boat ride for his birthday and we had a great time. He also helped me organize an aperitif with fried food and prosecco, he thought of everything. Nicola super helpful, kind and professional. Absolutely worth doing again!!Super recommended!!

Highly recommended! We had a fantastic family fishing trip with Nicola. We also stopped for some swimming in a couple of idyllic locations. The boat and equipment were great and Nicola was a enthusiastic, fun and professional host. We would definitely book again.

We met him in the morning and we knew that he didn’t speak English(I’m Canadian and my girl is Armenian) But we didn’t care at all. We decided before that we would use a translator and it was more than good enough. Nicolo is a very happy and funny man that know the local area like the back on his hand. We are joking and laughing all day. We had the best time. He took us fishing and to a island area to swim and have some drinks. We were dancing on the boat and had the music pumping all day. The water was unbelievable. Warm and clear blue. The more open you are with him he will give you the same back. We are going to bring our friends with us again next week because we had such a good time. I really can’t say enough about him and the day trip in general. If you are fun people than you will have a fun day. Do yourself a favour and plan a trip. I would recommend it to anyone. Thank you Nicolo for a day to remember and we’ll see you again next week💪🏼😁

I spent the day (from around 11 to sunset) on a trip. We took off for the island and moored there for a swim and lunch. We had to bring our own packed lunch and drinks. Danilo, the skipper had a cool box for our drinks. The water wasn't deep but very clean. We were then taken to deep water for another swim. Towards evening we did a leisurely tour of the waterfront of the old town and the most important monuments with entertaining descriptions by the skipper. I was alone, but was really welcomed by the skipper and other passengers. The pugliese hospitality offered was really special. I couldn't have spent a more enjoyable day. I would advise you to bring swimwear and sunscreen. Lunch is an important part of the day, so be prepared for sharing the experience with the other passengers. It is a great way for a group of friends or family to spend a relaxing day...and also lone travellers can get to experience the Puglian way of enjoying yourself. Highly recommended.

Nicola is the best host! The boat is comfortable and part of it is also covered from the sun so you can choose what you prefer. In half a day, we saw the old city, mar piccolo, and the island. I highly recommend this experience to who is visiting Taranto.

Nicola is excellent host and goes above & beyond to fulfill requests. So polite and friendly. Had a lot of fun on the boat. Absolutely to recommend.

We had a fab day on the boat yesterday, I and my children enjoyed a fantastic tour; the boat was more comfortable than expected. We visited amazing places with the emerald sea around Taranto. We stopped to swim twice and to fish ones . Our capitan Nicola was very kind and friendly. Overall, the atmosphere was excellent and the views were spectacular. It was really good value for money. I highly recommend it!
