Lana, our guide, was AMAZING. This was my best experience in San Fran largely because I lucked out with her as a guide. Not all the guides are like her. If you can request her - do it! The Muir Woods were so beautiful as was Sausalito. This was worth the visit if you enjoy a nice walk through the wilderness, nicely combined with some leisure time along the bay.

The Trees are Amazing
Oh My God this was such a great day with Ben. Started with catching the ferry over to Sausalito to meet up with Ben just at the wharf / really easy to do and a great way to start off. Then a short drive and we are there - Ben was born and raised in the area and did it like the back of his hand - great stories. Ok so this is all about the trees. Amazing - I have never seen anything like it. I was not disappointed. Easy walk - we had a variety of ages from quite young to retirees (well into retirement) and Ben made sure all the way along that everyone was good. I would very happily do this trip again next year when I am back.

We have been in the Bay area many, many times but this was our first hike in Mill Valley. We are from New York. This walk was better than just going to Muir Woods. Ben was an excellent guide and had many personal stories about the place. It was not a strenuous hike, more like a walk.

We took our 12 person team on Victoria's tour last week and it was a delight. This tour gives you a glimpse the American cultural revolution (hippies, beatniks, LSD, enlightenment philosophy) that started during the 60s. The artifacts of that history are still here and you get to see them and experience them in a unique way with this tour.

That day, my husband and I happened to be the only ones on the tour! We met Viv, our tour guide, who was knowledgeable, informative, and fun! We learned about wine pairings, and had some wonderful food experiences, especially a clam chowder that was absolutely AMAZING! A good time!

My husband and I were the only 2 on the tour that day. The food and wine pairings were good, but the food was excellent on its own! ESPECIALLY the clam chowder!! Unlike any chowder I've tasted! Viv, our guide, was fun, informative, and knowledgeable. Overall, an excellent experience!.

This tour is great! Not rushed or “canned” like some tours I went on. The tour guide, Victoria, is exceptionally knowledgable and passionate about the community and its preservation.Time flew by, as Victoria regaled us with the stories of the different wooden boats.The tour is accessible and would be great for all ages and all abilities. I can’t recommend it enough!

Our guide Ben was amazing...
Our guide Ben was an amazing tour guide. He knew the history, hikes and ecological system of Muir Woods as if he had lived there! We hiked 4.5 miles, with plenty of stops and Ben will adjust time, length and level of hike to meet your needs. I would strongly suggest this tour. It is a highlight for anyone visiting the San Francisco area.

Our guide, Viv, was fun and well informed.The selected restaurants had wonderful food and wine.We were introduced to the best clam chowder we’ve ever had.We began with a Chandon bubbly and a cheese plate, moved to the restaurant with chowder accompanied by a lovely rose, and to Poggio for delicious gnudi with a great Scarpatta Barbera and ended with a bread pudding like no other with white port on an outdoor deck. Everywhere the views were great and the guide a good conversationalist.

Great restaurant selections. Very good course selections: charcuterie w/ bubbly, unique clam chowder w rosé, gnudi w/ scarpetta, bread pudding w/ white port. Best food quality I’ve ever had on a food tour. Very informative and personable guide. Moderate flat walking in scenic location.

Very good, the place is beautiful and relaxing. I recommend it to everyone! I liked Sausalito, but in the AM almost nothing was open...P.S. Lots of turns on the road, several of us felt carsick. Need some Gravol!
