We had such an amazing experience with TravelNgo. In fact we couldn’t have done the trip to the South Island at all if it weren’t for their outstanding service.We weren’t comfortable driving in New Zealand and didn’t want to endure potential motion sickness on any buses, and Jay at TravelNgo put together a personalize itinerary for us that worked perfectly, was extremely flexible and reasonably priced.We booked a half-day tour of Glenorchy and Paradise (from Queenstown), plus one-way transport from Queenstown to Te Anau, Te Anau to Wanaka, Wanaka to Mt Cook and Mt Cook to Christchurch - nearly 800 miles in total! Jay picked us up promptly each time in a 4WD SUV, took care of our bags, opened doors for us, provided interesting history of the areas, and always knew the best / secret spots to stop for photos, delicious snacks or clean rest stops. In addition he’s a great conversationalist, allowed time for shopping and played excellent background music - plus he acted as our personal photographer! He was so kind throughout all of our travels and honestly I can’t say enough good things about Jay or TravelNgo in general.If you really want to see the South Island, this is the only way to travel. There’s so much to see if you don’t have to watch the road! Plus you’ll always have someone with you to take photos!

We spent amazing 4 days in New Zealand. Started from Queenstown and went to Milford Sound which was absolutely spectacular. Looking back, what I remember most isn't just Milford Sound, Mount Cook, Lake Tekapo, or Queenstown individually. It's the feeling of driving through those incredible landscapes with no stress about what came next. Everything was taken care of, but the trip still felt personal and unhurried. The vehicle also deserves a mention. It was extremely comfortable, clean, and had plenty of legroom, filled with water, drinks and snacks to keep you hydrated. If you're considering seeing New Zealand on a private tour, I would absolutely recommend this experience.

An Unforgettable Trip through an Unforgettable Country
Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish our 4 day trip, very well organized, comfortable hotels, transportation, activities and excellent guide. Itinerary was packed with incredible places yet everything felt smooth and enjoyable. We started our journey in Queenstown and headed straight toward Milford Sound, with breathtaking scenic stops along the way. The landscapes were simply spectacular. We also explored the Te Anau Glowworm Caves, which was a unique and memorable experience. In Queenstown, we enjoyed some exciting activities, including jet boating and the Skyline Gondola with the luge ride. It was a perfect combination of adventure and beautiful views. Next day we drove toward Mount Cook, with some wonderful stops along the way, including Lindis Pass and a lavender farm. One of the highlights was hiking the Hooker Valley Track, where the views of the mountains and surrounding landscape were absolutely incredible. I wish we had more time to explore more but we will come back soon to travel with Waimate Journeys and our amazing guide Rago. Highly recommend!

Not really one to leave reviews, but incredible experience from start to finish.Emma and Simon were great. The communication was out of this world when it came to this booking. They went out of their way to get me out into the mountains to show me the stars early (knowing the inclement weather that was to come later in the week). Dare I say courteous and kind? That was them from the start.Once up there, it was evident that I was dealing with a rare breed with Mr. Simon. The man is very passionate and knowledgeable when it comes to the stars— as well as NZ culture. Learned so much from him in that short time up there.And the view? Stellar! Never seen that many stars in my life— seemed like there were millions up there. Enough to put things into perspective. We got lucky and got to witness a nice set of auroras— breathtaking.You’d be in good hands with these folks. Good peeps/ good views.

Dear Avid readersMy friend and I as two middle aged doctors booked the afternoon boutique wine tour as a birthday treat for my friend. I can safely say we were blessed to have Susana as our tour guide making our trip smooth and sensational, as well as highly informative.Needless to say though most importantly she made sure my friend had a magical birthday, and made me the lord of the rings fan, finish with a big smile on my face! Wow what an experience and learnt so much too.
Wow what an amazing experience. I have travelled to Glenorchy before but Glen new exactly where to stop to capture amazing shots. We felt like storm chasers, getting the best shot before a storm. Absolutely can not recommend Glen and this tour highly enough, we didn't just come away with some amazing shots, we learnt so much and made a great friend in the process. I've done many tours but this one is by far the best we have done. Thanks Glen for everything :)

An Incredible Journey Through New Zealand
We started our 9 day tour from Queenstown and headed to Doubtful Sound, where the cruise through the spectacular fiords was absolutely breathtaking. The peaceful surroundings, dramatic mountains and untouched beauty made this one of the highlights of our trip. We visited Te Anau Glowworm Caves and headed back to Queenstown. We absolutely loved the relaxed atmosphere aroudn the Wharf and Lake Wakatipu. The views were incredible and it was one of those places where we could simply sit, walk around, and enjoy the moment. Mt. Cook and Lake Tekapo were unforgettable. We especially enjoyed the fun and relaxed experiences like Agrodome, the Māori cultural experience in Rotorua, and ending the trip at beautiful Muriwai Beach. Every day had something different, but the whole journey felt smooth and stress-free. We are very happy with the service provided by the Waimate Journeys and especially grateful to our guide for making the trip so enjoyable. New Zealand gave us some amazing memories, and we would definitely recommend Waimate Journeys to anyone planning a trip to New Zealand. Thank you for making our journey so memorable!

We visited some incredible places including the stunning Lake Tekapo, Lake Pukaki, Ōmārama Clay Cliffs and the High Country Salmon Farm.The scenery throughout the journey was absolutely beautiful, and the Clay Cliffs were definitely one of the highlights. Five days in New Zealand and it's already feels like we experienced life time of beautiful moments. The stunning landscapes of Milford Sound and Mt. Cook just amazing. Thrills of Queenstown and Swimming with Dolphins in Akaroa was just another highlights of our time in NZ. We never felt stressful and a big reason for that was our guide. He was absolutely amazing, friendly, patient, and always making sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. He took care of the little things, kept everything running smoothly. We had the BEST Glenorchy Private Tour on 24/7/26, better than our expectations. The booking with TravelnGo was very easy & user-friendly with email confirmation after payment & the day before our departure we got details of the driver, car number & contact number. We are so blessed to have Jay as our tour guide cum driver. He is very professional, knowledgeable, friendly, excellent driver & our great photographer…we had so much fun even though it was raining during lunch time. We love this private tour so much because of the flexibility & we can stop at some of the stunning places (eg: Moke Lake, Glenorchy jetty & waterfront, Lord of the Rings Isengard lookout..etc) longer to take amazing photos/videos. Jay is also very patient with us with the Lagoon walk because we can’t walk very fast & let us stop to rest & enjoy the spectacular views of Mt. Earnslaw.
