My wife and I booked this full-day hike as part of our honeymoon. We were joined by a few other travellers in a small group for the hike. We highly recommend it!What made this day special was our guide, Angelo Georgalli. He is friendly, energetic, and caring. He knows so much about the nature and history of the lands. You could see his eyes sparkle when we spotted a few rare bird species. Also, he knew all the park rangers and staff and is a big part of the nature community there. Lastly, he frequently checked in with us to make sure we were moving at a good comfortable pace, while keeping us all on time. The views were amazing and the hike was a good challenge that pushed us.

We booked a family kayaking tour on April 9, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences of our South Island trip. A special thanks to our guide, Andy, who provided clear and helpful kayaking instructions, along with sharing his knowledge about Pigeon Island, Lake Wakatipu, and the surrounding area. His knowledge and enthusiasm truly made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

I booked the full-day Routeburn hike through Nomads Queenstown and it was a highlight of my trip. My guide, Angelo Georgalli, was fantastic—super knowledgeable about the nature, birds, and surroundings, which made the experience so much more interesting.Everything was really well organised, and the scenery was incredible—waterfalls, forest, and amazing views up towards the saddle. We even had a bit of rain which made it more fun and adventurous.Highly recommend!

Great experience! Great guide. Highly recommend.

We had that section of the lake and the island almost all to ourselves and it was so peaceful! Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable and I thought it was fantastic value given the price of other tours from Queenstown

The guide was so friendly and very engaging!! Beautiful sights and super cute weka birds.

We took the half-day Routeburn Trail nature walk today. The scenery was breathtaking and Angelo Georgalli was amazing, sharing his extensive knowledge of the flora, birds, history and topography (and everything else!) with us. And he was a nice guy with a lovely personality! I would definitely recommend it and, if you go, enjoy!

April 25th we had a half day Rothburn Trail tour with Dan, then picked up Adrian. We had such a wonderful time we had. Dan was an excellent guide on the trail and kept at our pace, but helped us get to the Bridal Veil falls and a view point farther along. Amazing views! He knew the area, had intetesting stories to tell us along the way. On the way back we picked up Adrian. The two of them were so funny that the time flew by. Such a delightful afternoon. We are so grateful to them for giving us an experience to remember. Next time we'll do the whole trail!

Thank you for reaching out! This trip was absolutely phenomenal—truly the best 10 days of my life. I’m incredibly grateful for everything you arranged. Cindy, in particular, took such good care of me. It felt like she was supporting me around the clock, and I really appreciate her dedication. There is just one small detail I’d like to point out: I was told the bus from Hell’s Gate back to downtown would leave at 4:30 p.m., but it ended up departing at 5:30 p.m. If the timing had been more accurate, I might have enjoyed that part of the trip even more. But honestly, this was just a minor issue compared to the overall amazing experience I had.I’m already eager to recommend your services to my friends and colleagues. On top of that, I realized how much I love the South Island—I’m hoping to visit Queenstown and Mount Cook National Park next, perhaps while participating in some business-related community events. I’d be thrilled if your company could help me plan that trip as well.Thank you again for everything. I look forward to traveling with you in the future!

Could not rate Aiste more highly. I booked with Aiste an overnight photography trip to Mt Cook, including a stop at Lake Tekapo. Aiste herself was lovely, a real pleasure to be around, and she took us to some great off-the-beaten-track places! I really loved the entire trip and found her knowledge of the area and photography to be really refreshing. She also took some photos of me whilst I was taking photos and printed them off for me! Such a pleasant surprise. I really enjoyed the tour and thought it was good value for money. Will definitely do something similar again with Aiste when I return to New Zealand!

I cannot say enough good things about Aiste. She created a wonderful photo experience that was exactly what I had hoped for.I was traveling to Queenstown with a guided tour but I had a free day to explore on my own. None of the excursions they offered were interesting to me so I was lucky enough to find Aiste’s photo excursion. She was super flexible with the schedule and start time and very communicative throughout. She took me all over Queenstown including Skipper’s Canyon and even offered to take my picture using my phone and camera which was so nice since I rarely get photos of myself when I’m traveling solo. She even bought me a delicious lunch part way through the excursion. The day was exactly what I wanted. Aiste created a magical experience that I will not soon forget.

We booked a 9 day tour in New Zealand for our 25th Anniversary. We had a wonderful time. We were the only 2 on the tour. Prior to the trip Jessa took care of all the arrangements and made sure everything was ready for our trip. While in New Zealand Cindy made sure all our next day tours and lodging was sent to us as a reminder. She was very helpful and even arranged a tour of Tiritiri Island. I can not thank Jessa, Cindy, and CharlieTheTraveller for making our 25th anniversary memorable. it was nice to have everything arranged for us in advance and to have great customer service that made us feel taken care of the whole trip. All the excursions were fantastic and the transportation was great. I would Highly recommend CharlieTheTraveller. We will use them on our next big trip.

Luke was an amazing tour guide! No one else showed up from the group so he did the tour for me solo and was very accommodating about going whatever pace I wanted / stopping when I wanted to. Snacks provided were good and views were incredible all day even in the rain - saw rainbow on the drive in and back too!

Such a fun afternoon. Really e hyped this activity. Andy was a great guide and kept us safe and informed and entertained. Beautiful scenery

What a phenomenal experience. Not only was the drive to the hike filled with epic scenery that literally did not feel real, but the hike itself was also breathtakingly beautiful. Our guide Angelo was so informative, kind, funny, and just a genuinely compassionate human being. I could not have asked any more from the tour, the group of people on the tour, and the guide. I highly suggest that you book this adventure during your trip to New Zealand. I can’t wait to do it again.

Andy was an excellent tour guide. We truly enjoyed the kayak cruise on the lake and the hike on the island. It may make more sense to revise the meeting place to be by the lake where the tour starts on kayaks rather than in Glenorchy followed by a drive to the lake launch area. Just a suggestion.
