Marino and his family were simply the best hosts for our pasta making class. We learned so much and we felt so welcomed. The instructions were easy to follow and everyone was so nice. The family farm is quite a sight to see and we enjoyed seeing all of the gardening, animals, and being shown around. We very much appreciated the option for a flour that wasn't near nuts for an allergy we had in the group and that they could accommodate the protein allergies in the group.Meeting his nonna and mom were top highlights. We learned about olive oil, the regional dishes there like the dish we made and arrosticini. This experience is well worth the money paid. This was hands down the favorite experience we had while in Italy and the group voted. We hope we can introduce new friends to this experience next year. This pasta making class was everything I wanted and more.

Upon our arrival, Stefania greeted us with the warmest welcome. She took care in explaining not only how a dish was made, but the significance, flavor profiles, and even some of chemical reactions resulting in specific tastes. Her culinary expertise and sincere care for both people and food shined. With Stefania’s support and clear instructions, we prepared fried pizza, eggplant Parmesan, gnocchis, and tiramisu — you will not leave with an empty stomach! Everything was well-organized and thoughtfully planned, making the experience that much more fun. Her husband, Marcello, joined us for dinner, his wine expertise complementing our food. There was never a dull moment, as we walked in as strangers but left as friends. Your visit to Pescara will not feel complete without an exquisite cooling experience and class with Stefania!

We (mother & daughter) were looking for a real Italian cooking class and Stefania was the most amazing host and chef! She knows everything about cooking and she shares all her knowledge with you. Her English is good, and a translating app helps for the more difficult words. Even before we arrived she contacted us for our wishes and made sure everything was beautifully prepared. We enjoyed our own cooking in the garden, and her husband Marcello joined us. We had such nice conversations about everything and we felt so welcome in their home. We would recommend everyone that visits the Abruzzen to also visit Stefania, you will experience an amazing cooking class and you will leave inspired!

Marino with Experience BellaVita was truly a blessing for our family trip. We had a group of 22, ages ranging from 2 years to 65 years and he crafted an itinerary that worked for all of us and gave us an authentic Abruzzo experience. I'm the mom of the 2 year old, who was not the easiest on the trip, but who took to Marino right away. He was great at giving us tours and taking us truffle hunting, etc, while also holding my 2 year old. He is a kind man who is plugged into the community and loves his region through and through. He was knowledgeable and easy to work with. We were all so so happy that we ended up booking with Marino.

Great evening of cooking and laughs - learning what to do and what not to do while making pasta from scratch. Louisa and her friend Maya greeted us with Prosecco and snacks when we arrived, then we set to work making 2 kinds of pasta and tiramisu. It was a fun evening overall, and we are looking forward to trying at least one of the recipes with our friends when we get home. The homemade aperitifs were also greatly appreciated. We however did not receive our Cesarine aprons. Not a big deal, but it was supposed to be part of the event. Maya graciously drove us back to the city so we didn’t have to walk back in the dark. Luisa was so welcoming. She taught us traditional pizza making from scratch, as well as delicious tiramisu. Michaela helped interpret for us and was a delight. New friendships made for the best experience!

This experience was incredible. Our host was so welcoming and we had such a great time learning to make 2 kinds of pasta and tiramisu. It really helped us feel like we got an authentic sense for the area. We couldn't wait to try out what we learned once we got home! Definitely worth the time, highly recommend.

Stefania is an excellent teacher, cook, and host. She is truly passionate about the art of cooking, and she went above and beyond to make sure that we understood the cooking process. The highlight of the evening was the magnificent meal which included a beautiful setting and wonderful conversation. It was a night my family and I will never forget.

I can’t recommend Marino highly enough! He truly made this trip unforgettable and brought it to life in ways we never expected. The amount of effort and preparation he put in was remarkable—he even went into town to research our family history! His energy, knowledge, and passion elevated every part of our experience. We had a lovely time learning in Luisa's kitchen. We made ravioli and chitarra pasta local to the region of Abruzzo. We also made a strawberry tiramisu which was delicious. Such a fun time visiting and learning more about the Italian culture. Thanks so much to our hostess and host!

Luisa was a great host and wonderful cook. We made a sweet ravioli and homemade pasta learning to use the Chitarra. We also made a version of tiramisu using strawberries and lemoncello instead of coffee. The flavors were delicious. Luisa was a wonderful host and my friend and I had a lovely time. Now we can’t wait to get home and practice the pasta making techniques we learned. Thanks Luisa!!

Stefania made me feel home from the minute I arrived at her place. Her way of teaching and making you feel comfortable are the best! You will learn how to make pasta from scratch and realize that it is not difficult. That’s how Stefania does. She will share with you her secrets and make sure you will eat very well. Incredible experience! We had a great time, we were able to learn to cook good things ourselves thanks to Luisa. The translator present is really a plus, and she was very nice.
