A fantastic day out on the Great Barrier Reef with Calypso Reef Cruises! A very special thank you to Irene, who was incredibly kind, caring and patient with me. She went out of her way to help me get into my snorkelling gear and, most importantly, she respected my own pace and gave me the time I needed before getting into the water. Her kindness and understanding made a real difference to my experience. The entire crew were fantastic friendly, professional and very helpful throughout the day. And a special mention to the Captain Lisa who did an excellent job and helped make the whole trip feel safe and enjoyable. I really appreciate the care and effort you all put into making everyone feel comfortable and welcome. Highly recommended! 10/10.

The team clearly have a lot of respect for the reef and care for those travelling with them, I highly recommend them for all your snorkelling and scubaing experiences.

Absolutely amazing experience that I highly recommend!
This was even better than I expected! A lot of people we spoke to said they didn't book this excursion because they thought they'd feel claustrophobic with the helmet on, but that wasn't the case at all! With glass on three sides we had a very good view of everything, and even though the guide didn't speak much English, she was superb in using hand signals to communicate with us underwater. The fact that we were given little bags of bananas attached to our helmet meant that the fish were quite attracted to us and it was great seeing them up close nibbling at the bag. Also, there was a sting ray that kept hanging around us and almost "flirting" with our guide, so she was able to show us the ray up close, look it in the eye, pet it, and even see its underside. This was way better than snorkeling where you're looking down at the fish. Here they were all right next to our face, which made this an absolutely amazing experience!

We booked a private dive as I am not super comfortable diving yet and did not want to cut anyone's dive short if I got anxious. Amaury was our dive master and he was absolutely amazing!! Our 1st dive in the lagoon was so incredible and because of how slow we went I was very comfortable. Amaury gave very clear instructions both before and during the dive. Our 2nd dive was outside the lagoon and half way through I got a little anxious. I signaled to Amaury and he quickly came to me. Everything he did was EXACTLY what I didn't know I needed. His eyes and his responses were so very calming. I was actually able to finish the dive. The dive in general was a dream come true. So many coral and fish that were absolutely beautiful. From the first moment we contacted Bora Diving Center we were very impressed with communication, willingness to find the best fit for us, and the greetings in person. I cannot recommend Bora Diving Center enough - they were very professional and comforting.

I researched diving around Perth and Rotnest came up as a great experience, i then checked local five companies offering dive trips around Rotnest and bucket list diver came out on top, my experience performing a reactivation and diving at Rotnest were excellent, friendly, knowledgeable, experienced, good equipment, good communication, I would Highly recommend Bucket list diver.

We were picked up at our hotel in perfect time. The dive master was organized with all the tanks and equipment. We picked up a few more and a second dive master for two groups of four. Our guide spoke great English for us and French for the other two divers. We hadn’t dove in a year and we needed some refreshing. Our guide was fantastic ++++. We caught on quickly and did our first tank which included going through a cave. We saw lots of fish, sharks, corals, eels, clown fish, lion fish and more! We had tea and cookies before going on our second tank dive. On this dive we saw lots of beautiful coral, all the other listed above, but the manta rays were hiding that day.This trip was comfortable, all gear was provided, the dives were amazing, and I always felt safe with our Dive Master. I would do this again and again!!

We had such a great time! My husband was concerned that he would feel claustrophobic in the helmet, but he didn’t have any problem with it. We both enjoyed this unique experience so very much. Julienne took great care of us and was a wonderful and thoughtful host.

It was an absolutely fantastic tour! All the staff were very friendly and kind. They really cared about everyone and kept checking on us throughout the tour. Safety was always their first priority.They also explained everything about scuba diving very clearly and kindly, so even a complete beginner like me could enjoy it without any problems.Overall, it was an amazing experience, and I would definitely recommend this tour!

Amazing Great Barrier Reef Experience! First time scuba diver and I felt so safe and cared for! When I arrived I was welcomed by Kathryn who was so lovely! Song was an exceptional scuba guide! He was so professional! I had anxiety going into this, but everyone was so professional and kind. I felt secure and was in complete awe breathing below the water. I saw so many big, small, colorful and unique fish! Even a shark and felt so safe and at peace! The muffins and coffee for breakfast were very fresh! Lunch was delicious and plentiful! There was an afternoon snack of fresh fruit served, but an announcement wasn’t made so I missed out. I was enjoying the glorious views and sunshine on the upper deck of the spacious boat. I highly recommend this very professional and safe excursion! Well worth the price paid to immerse yourself in the beauty below the sea at the Great Barrier Reef!!
