The blue lagoon cruise was a bucket list holiday it was fantastic and all the islands we visited were beautiful

We had a 3 night cruise wish we could have stayed longer. Staff were all so attentive and fun to be around . Food was fantastic breakfast lunch and dinner all so convenient while looking at stunning views of the islands and a blue blue ocean. Afternoon drinks on the beach were a treat all served up by our favourite barman Leslie . Nothing was too much for him . I’ll definitely be returning for longer this time . Thank you Blue Lagoon Cruising .

Early sept 26, we flew to Fiji stayed at The Palms Resort opposite Denarau Marina 2 days before & after our cruise.The Staff from B.L.C, Greeted us as we walked on the Pier at the gangway All Smiles, we made our way to the dining area for Welcome Drinks, non rush, later we found our cabin it had large windows across outer side, they are Either Full up or Full Down..........No Adjustment.." Bring some string / small cord to ajust windows " I did ...Spotless bathroom, and cabin , large wardrobe mini fridge nice firm bed. Great for a Good 7 nights SleepThe Captains dinner that night, twin Xl tables Nicely decorated, my wife sat alongside the Captain, food was Delicious, our pax company were all friendly, and Happy. later the Captain asked my wife how old she was ! stunned she told him, I thought he needs watching...yeah right..We found the staff Very Friendly, Nothing was to much just Ask and it was Done for you.The daily meals were varied, plentiful, and Delicious, the Franke coffee machine perfect espressos, for us and large Delicious freshly baked short breadsGetting On & Off the 2 XL dinghies that ferried you to beache & . islands was safe, easy with Staff always there to assist you, many times Captain in Crew Attire.All the visits to Villages, and islands were Very Pleasurable activities were many, Always at Your Want or notHighlights cooked Under ground feast, with local village visiting for Song & Dances routines Great entertainmentDoing the Under ground . swimming tour absolutely a Must as long as you have the Fitness for it, you must be a Steady walker for this, Steepish Rutted steps, Rickerty hand rails. We are Both Fit, Slim, Octogenarians and managed well. Always with Crew Helping you at difficult parts.The stairs are on 3 decks all up, but you mainly use 2 decks as the roof top is open air full time. but Dinners are set up weather permitting Naturally.Motoring on a Cat hull vessel was mostly Smooth, Light Rolling, a light swell sometimes all up a piece of cake but USE the hand rails Always and Watch you Step.Engine noise was to be expected, specially on the Bottom deck as we were but...Twin V12 MTU s were Music to My Ears.I would like to Thank All the Crew, Specially, the Captain Fabian.. ..1st engineer Julian. for our in depth talks on vessel Propulsion, Purificication, calorifiers, and " Cat Gensets " Finally Awesome Twin V12. 2000 , MTU sMojee, Nicky, Vinaisa, Lote, And Leslie, head marman, he was Entertaining, witty, Very Perceptive, Constant professional, Genuine person.Full Marks to All the Staff for All Ashore Entertainment, Drinks, activities, Food, Canoes, & Ferrying Pax To & Fro. it requires Very Much Crew Effort & Coordination....The Staff were Perfect Professionals in my opinion, (Ex asst chief night steward RMS. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ **Absolutely Fantastic Day Cruise – Exceptional Team and Memorable Experience**I had the pleasure of taking the **Captain Cook Cruises Day Cruise on Saturday, 19 September**, and what an incredible experience it was. The day was **amazing, magical, beautiful, and full of memorable moments**.Having worked in the hospitality and tourism industry for many years, I pay particular attention to service standards, guest engagement, presentation, teamwork, and the overall guest experience. I can honestly say that the crew on this particular cruise were absolutely fantastic.I would like to personally acknowledge the following team members:**Wise, Julius, Qory, Talei, Amelia, Mere, Joseva, Captain Mari, John Biu, and Bale.**Every one of them contributed to making the day special. Their friendliness, professionalism, teamwork, entertainment, and willingness to engage with guests were clearly noticeable throughout the cruise.### 🌟 Special Recognition to BaleA very special mention must go to **Bale**, who was one of the highlights of the day. WOW!She was exceptionally well presented, precise, attentive to detail, friendly, energetic, and always had a beautiful smile. She had a wonderful way of interacting with guests and creating a positive atmosphere. Her ability to entertain while maintaining professionalism was outstanding.Bale genuinely helped make everyone's day amazing, and I believe she is a wonderful asset to the Captain Cook Cruises team.### 🌊 Recognition for the Marine BiologistI would also like to recognise the **Marine Biologist**, who was absolutely amazing.She was calm, knowledgeable, professional, and very detailed when explaining the marine environment and activities. It was very clear to me that she is extremely hardworking and passionate about her role.Her job is challenging, particularly when she is required to continuously enter the water even when conditions are unpleasant. That level of commitment should not go unnoticed. I strongly believe the company should value and recognise the contribution she makes.Her knowledge and experience have certainly added another dimension to the Captain Cook Cruises experience. Having worked in many areas of hospitality and tourism myself, I was particularly impressed by her attitude, dedication, and professionalism.### 🎶 Activities and EntertainmentThe activities were another major highlight of the cruise, and the **singing and entertainment were especially enjoyable**. The crew created a wonderful atmosphere and kept guests engaged throughout the day.This is what hospitality is all about — creating experiences that people remember long after they leave.### 🍽️ A Small Suggestion – Breakfast ServiceI would also like to provide one small operational suggestion that may help improve the guest experience and housekeeping efficiency.During breakfast, I noticed that **serviettes were being used in a way that allowed crumbs to fall onto the carpet/rug**. Perhaps the use of **small paper plates or suitable breakfast plates** could be considered. This would provide guests with a better surface for their food while also reducing crumbs falling onto the carpet and potentially creating additional cleaning work for the team.It is only a small observation, but sometimes small operational changes can make a significant difference.### ⚠️ Important OHS & Guest Safety ObservationI would also like to raise an important safety observation regarding **guest disembarkation and boarding**.On the day of our cruise, the sea was quite windy and the conditions were relatively rough. I observed that during disembarkation, a ramp was not being used and staff were physically supporting guests as they boarded and disembarked.Although the staff were doing their very best to assist and protect the guests, I felt that this method could potentially present a safety risk, particularly when the boat is moving or rocking due to sea conditions.If a guest were to take the wrong step or lose their balance while the vessel was moving, it could potentially result in an accident, even with staff providing assistance.From an **Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) perspective**, I believe this is something that should be reviewed as soon as possible. My intention in providing this feedback is not to criticise the crew — quite the opposite. The staff were doing an excellent job under the circumstances.I am raising this observation because **guest safety and staff safety must always come first**. If there is a safer boarding and disembarkation procedure, such as the appropriate use of a ramp or another approved system depending on sea conditions, I believe this should be implemented and consistently followed.This would help prevent potential accidents in the future and also provide additional protection for both **Captain Cook Cruises and its guests**.### 🌺 Overall ExperienceOverall, this was an **absolutely fantastic cruise**, and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.The crew were the biggest highlight for me. Their attitude, teamwork, professionalism, entertainment, and genuine engagement with guests demonstrated what good hospitality should look like.**Wise, Julius, Qory, Talei, Amelia, Mere, Joseva, Captain Mari, John Biu, Bale, and the entire crew — thank you for making the day so special.**Your service, smiles, entertainment, knowledge, and dedication created a wonderful experience that I will remember.I have worked in hospitality for many years, and I can genuinely appreciate a team that understands that **service is not just about serving guests — it is about creating memories, making people feel welcome, and ensuring they leave with a positive experience.**Captain Cook Cruises should be proud of this team. The trip to the Barrier Reef was exceptional- the crew whilst friendly were professional and very focused on safety. A fantastic day with such natural beauty topped with the helicopter ride showing the varying colours from above. The equipment provided for snorkelling was of great quality and provided comfort and confidence whilst in the water. A fabulous day and well worth the money.The Skyrsil was only partially operational but a great view of the rain forest from above. Unfortunately the train was available as they found track issues - whilst disappointing, safety first! Still an enjoyable day up in Kuranda and the Skyrail team did extremely well ensuring we still had a great day.

Put this on your bucket list. The entire experience was 5 star and I cannot rate it highly enough. Ignore the older reviews as this is a new pontoon and a new experience. The food was out of this world and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. HIGHLY RECOMMEND DOING !

Had the best time on the ‘Spank me’ sailing trip. The views were beautiful, the crew was lovely and the group was fun! Would definitely recommend.

The 2 day sailing tour was amazing. We saw a lot of turtles, whales and visited beautiful beaches! Max, Cat and Andrea were amazing staff, made beautiful dishes and it was a very fun trip! Highly recommend!

The Doubtful Sound overnight cruise was an unforgettable experience. The scenery was breathtaking, with towering mountains, waterfalls, and peaceful waters all around. The best moment was waking up in such a remote and beautiful place, with the silence and wildlife making it feel truly special. The crew were friendly, the food was great, and kayaking added to the adventure.

Our experience with Cruise Whitsundays was truly unforgettable, and so much of that is thanks to the wonderful people who made our stay and our first diving experience so special.Emma and Regan were exceptional hosts. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel incredibly welcome and comfortable. Their genuine warmth, kindness, and attention to detail really stood out. They seemed to anticipate our needs before we even had to ask, and it was the little thoughtful touches that made us feel so well looked after. It felt much more personal than simply being guests — we genuinely felt cared for.A very special highlight was our first ever diving experience with James and Macy. As first-time divers, we were naturally a little nervous, but they were absolutely fantastic. Their patience, professionalism and calm, reassuring approach made us feel incredibly safe and confident throughout the experience. They took the time to explain everything clearly, never rushed us, and made sure we were comfortable every step of the way. Thanks to them, what could have been an intimidating first experience became one of the most exciting and memorable parts of our trip.We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Emma, Regan, James and Macy all contributed in their own way to making this trip incredibly special. We left with wonderful memories, a huge appreciation for the care they put into what they do, and a strong desire to come back.Thank you all for making our experience so unforgettable — we truly felt in the best hands from beginning to end!

Wonderful trip, great food, the entertainment from Russell was fantastic. The staff were just amazing, very friendly & helpful. On top of that there's the beautiful scenery along the Murray River.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (Let's be honest… Google is a bit stingy with its stars. JB deserves at least 12. ⭐😂)We left as a family of 7, from 8 to 62 years old (yes, all generations were there!), and managing to get everyone to agree is already quite a feat. Well, JB did it… and with disconcerting ease!We thought we were booking a 3-day cruise… we experienced a break outside of time. The kind of stay that makes you look at your return ticket with a lot, a lot of disappointment. 😭😂JB doesn't just sail, he shares his Polynesia. He knows the lagoon like the back of his hand and made us discover places so incredible that we wondered several times if it wasn't a set created by AI. Unreal waters, breathtaking landscapes, preserved places… a true paradise.On board, everything is designed so that you feel at home… except that at home, you don't have a turquoise lagoon in front of the terrace! (Not yet 😎). The welcome is exceptional, the meals are simply delicious (goodbye to good resolutions 😅), and each day is a succession of magical moments.But what makes all the difference is JB. His kindness, his benevolence, his good humor, and his attention to everyone are incredible. He knew how to create a bond with each member of our family, from the youngest to the oldest, by adapting to everyone with rare simplicity and generosity. Result: we left with 7 people won over… and yet, getting everyone in a family to agree is often more complicated than crossing the Pacific! 😂Thank you JB for these three extraordinary days, for your good humor, and for these landscapes engraved forever in our memories and this incredible feeling of having experienced much more than a simple cruise.If you are looking for a boat trip… keep looking. If you are looking for an experience that will make you fall in love with Polynesia, that will leave you with stars in your eyes and memories for life… then go for it. It's our first time coming to Australia from Canada and we were not sure what to expect in the "winter" but I saw this excursion and planned our whole trip around it. Best decision ever! The weather was perfect for swimming the reef and exploring the rainforest. The crews energy on both days was fun and knowledgeable and we felt 100% like we were in the best hands, seeing this part of the world in the best ways! As a family with young teens, the only time they asked for the phone was to take pictures. Worth ever penny and the meals were delicious!

This is our second time using Billy Tea Safaris and again we loved them! They made the whole process seamless for our trip. We did the Great Barrier Reef tour with their partner Down Under Dive & Exploration and then the Outback & Daintree with them directly. They also got us set up to explore Kuranda (going up on the sky rail and taking the scenic train back home). The guides are great, small tour group sizes and great activities. Highly recommend this tour group while in Cairns.If you are choosing to stay in an VRBO / Air B&B type place, this is the only hiccup as they can't pick you up from your residence but will have you meet at another central location - this added some costs to our trip (needing to UBER to get to this spot), but this was of our own choosing - just something to be aware of in booking. But its totally worth it!
