It’s a fun and eye opener one day trip! The tour guide is so nice and has a very good sense of humour!

Our guide Daniel is wonderful! He is responsible, humorous and kind at the same time! After introducing the English version he translated it into Chinese for other travelers to understand. Also gave us a lot recommendations concerning the viewing experience!

It runs rain or shine and it rained. We still had a wonderful time on the train. The tour guide will take a video of you when the train comes to the bridge where she was standing. It was fun.

Must do in Melbourne!Puffing Billy is a highlight, feel like going back in time. Bring glasses as there is sometimes some dust.

Arrive to your train early because seats fill up. We were a group of 5 and had to sit in different sections of the cart. It’s a nice scenic view. As for the penguins, make sure you layer because it was cold in early September and the penguins don’t come out until 6:30-6:45pm. Don’t expect massive amounts of penguins at a time. It’s more like 3-5 at a time. It’s a great experience if you are there during the right time.

Our driver/guide was very responsible and friendly, and he gave us a lot of interesting information about the local culture, history, and architecture along the way.What I especially liked was that the tour wasn’t just about rushing from one attraction to another. We had several stops to enjoy the scenery and see some local wildlife, including geese, kangaroos, and other animals. We also had enough free time at each stop to explore and take photos, which made the day feel much more relaxed.Riding the Puffing Billy steam train through the forest was definitely one of my favorite parts of the trip. But the Penguin Parade was probably the most memorable. Watching the little penguins come out of the ocean and gradually gather together before making their way back to their burrows was such a special experience.Overall, it was a really enjoyable and memorable day. Great scenery, wildlife, and a very well-organized tour. Definitely recommend it!

It’s a LONG day if you’re doing both, so pack some snacks and wear comfy footwear. The train ride is so much fun and beautiful scenery whether it’s sunshine or rain. Our driver David to Puffing Billy was a BLAST & he made the experience (even just the drive to the train) entertaining. Would definitely do Puffing Billy again. The change over to a new driver for our next trip to the Penguin Parade was a breeze. We stopped at some extra little places before going to watch the penguins. Just note you cannot take photos or videos of the Penguin Parade but they are adorable to watch waddle onto the shore. The tour was well worth the money.

Such a lovely experience! I honestly had such a great time and felt really comfortable from the moment I arrived. Tony is such a kind and caring person and really makes you feel welcome and well looked after. The tour was beautiful and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. I absolutely loved it and would definitely recommend it!

This was a lovely relaxed experience with some yummy food and excellent service. We were lucky to have the steam engine pulling the carriages and it was a touch of nostalgia to see it in action. The service was first class - every question answered and personal attention given. The degustation was yummy and the servings reasonable. I discovered a new drink - TINA - which I enjoyed very much. It was nice to know the food and drink was sourced locally where possible. It was lovely to chat with fellow passengers along the way.

It was my delayed birthday present. The staff were welcoming, we had a beautiful welcome drink and photo opportunity at the front of the train. The compartment was intimate, warm and nicely set up. Our waiter explained every dish and accompanying drink- it was a very polished service. The whole experience was great- the vegetable samosa was tasty and the tomato spicy sauce we would have bought a jar to take home it was amazing. If you don't like any of the wines offered there was another choice and the mocktails were enjoyed by my husband. The wines on offer during the meal were hidden on the bottom shelf in the shop for purchase but I found them and provided some to others wishing to purchase (for any future travellers). I think they could capitalise more providing some of the products used during the meals as retail opportunities. The scenery was amazing and there was also another train in action photo opportunity. As a vegetarian I was impressed by the meal offered it was very tasty. It was well worth it and we will consider revisiting for future occasions.

Excellent way to spend a cheeky lunch time and afternoon. Amazing food, and if you dont like a dish you can tell them in advance or on the day, and they will attempt to cater your needs. Damon was amazing also. Great wine recommendations.

Puffing Billy ride is one of the best experience in Melbourne. The tour guide's kindness was an added bonus, Thank you Daniel Yang. He make our tour a comfortable one and relaxing for he was a very attentive and considerate.

The trip was absolutely wonderful and such a memorable experience! Everything went smoothly, from the itinerary and transportation to the sightseeing activities. The places we visited were beautiful, and the overall experience was relaxing and enjoyable. The service was also excellent, with friendly and helpful staff throughout the journey. I had a great time and truly enjoyed every moment of the trip. I would definitely recommend this experience to friends and family, and I hope to have the opportunity to come back again in the future!

Lots of driving as the starting point is remote but the trip was fun and well worth it. Our guide, Aleks was top notch
