I had a great full day exploring Melbourne’s wildlife and Phillip Island. My guide, Ben, was friendly, funny and genuinely personable, and very easy to spend the day with. He took excellent care of me throughout, helped with my bags, took lots of photos for me and made sure I was comfortable at every stop. We covered a lot over the course of the day, saw plenty of Australian wildlife, and the whole experience felt relaxed and enjoyable rather than rushed. He was attentive, helpful and great company throughout. A really enjoyable day and a great way to experience some of Victoria’s wildlife!

We’ve done some amazing things on our first trip to Australia but this tour was right up there! John is a wonderful driver and host and the car…well, what a beauty. And everyone everywhere we went was so welcoming and friendly, and it was so nice to get out of the city to see a bit more of the surrounding area. Such an original way to tour too - we’d give it six stars if we could!

There is no better or enjoyable way to enjoy Melbourne, than traveling around in a beautiful 1956 Chevy BelAir with John, a very personable, knowledgeable and friendly local.An incredible experience that couples the nostalgic ride of the 1950s, with a complete overview of this beautiful city.

The tour was perfectly executed and one of our favorites while in Australia. John contacted me when I booked (several months ahead of the trip) just to get an idea of what we wanted to do. We communicated several times working out an itinerary. On the day of the tour, he gave clear directions to the meeting spot and was on time. The car was beautiful and immaculate, inside and out, and a joy to ride in. John was awesome and took us on a memorable tour of the Yarra Valley, including a stop for lunch. (We gave him a general idea of what we wanted and he picked an awesome restaurant). He was cordial, interesting, and a wonderful tour guide. He even offered an umbrella when it started to rain. The tour included a stop for pictures with the car with a scenic background. It was well worth the price for a private tour that included exactly what we wanted to do. If we ever make it back to the area, I would definitely book again.

Last year we came all the way from Sweden and wanted a relaxed day around Melbourne, enjoying nature, beaches, good food (plus wine and excellent coffee!) and perhaps some art as well. John took us on a beautiful trip around Mornington peninsula going to places like Torello farm, Monalto Vineyard (great wine tasting, outdoor art exhibition), Gunamatta beach etc. We (or rather the car) got many admiring looks from other people along the way, and riding in that beautiful car (love the sound of the motor), made this a fantastic and very relaxed day. Elena was AWESOME! Very knowledgable, friendly & customized trip for what we wanted! I was so excited to see wild kangaroos in their habitat (and not zoo)..she made sure we saw wildlife/nature shots & of course, penguins!!!

We went to Philip island with Elena, it was such an amazing experience, everything was perfect and Elena was extremely helpful and kid.

John provided a great tour of the Yarra Valley wine country. We had wine, champagne and even visited a gin distillery. The stop at a chocolate factory and small dairy farm were nice surprises. We felt really comfortable the whole tour and John’s immaculately kept 1956 Chevy Bellaire was really fun to tour in. I would recommend John’s tours to all!

This was a fantastic, unique tour. The car was fun. The driver friendly and knowledgeable on many topics. Each stop was different and enjoyable. We would highly recommend this tour for a one-of-a-kind experience to see the Yarra Valley.

Ben was extremely nice and took us on a Phillip island tour. He was very patient as i was travelling with a small child. Also he stopped for lunch and dinner and washroom breaks as required. He had good knowledge of the tour and guided us well.

We had a fabulous day! I organized a trip for an international group of doctors in Melbourne for a supportive care in cancer meeting. Our guide Ben was wonderful and informative. The beaches and animals were fabulous. Koalas, kangaroos and more! We even learned about important trees and cool birds. Spotted animals in the fields with our guides help. Sunset at Nobbies! The fairy penguins are so incredible and adorable and we had prime viewing for the incredible trip out of the ocean up the penguin track to their burrows. Dinner on the island was great as well and the drive quite easy. Highly recommend! This is a great day trip.
