Konstantinos was a delight to take us through the market, show us lots and explain whatever we had questions about. We then went to a restaurant after making purchases for our meal we would prepare. We had a head chef explain and show us how to make a great meal. Very enjoyable.

We had an amazing time in Thessaloniki. Eleana was a great hostess and she helped us create some delicious Greek dishes. The views from the terrace are absolutely brilliant, which really added to the experience.

It was the most amazing experience! Maria is the best kind of person. Her entire family was extremely welcoming. We made traditional Greek food which was extremely delicious and enjoyed the day with her family and their animals. They made us feel like we were part of their family. We will come back here just to experience this again!

Wow, what a brilliant experience. Harry, the host is very passionate and knowledgeable about olive oil and it really shows during the time you spend with him. I had never really thought of just tasting olive oil in isolation, the complexities of it are extraordinary. We were taken on a journey of tasting 4 extra virgin olive oils from different regions of Greece, tasting them on their own to compare how smooth or sweet or bitter they could be and then paired them with different foods. We learned a great deal, got to ask questions and would highly recommend this experience. You are able to buy the oil at the end, but there is absolutely no pressure to do so. Thank you again Harry for such a unique insight into the world of olive oil.

The experience takes place on a private terrace above the Thea Thalassa restaurant (which I also highly recommend). I was given a warm welcome by the hosts Harry and his fiancé. The area was set up beautifully and we started off with an interesting and information presentation. That was easy to understand for a novice like me. I learnt so much about harvesting the olive fruits and the full process. We then moved on to the tasting experience. Having learnt so much already it was great to then get a sense of the differing and exciting flavours of each of the olive oils. I was blown away by the smells and tastes I was experiencing. Then pairing them with different foods was so good. Harry's passion and enthusiasm was what made this experience truly enjoyable. He clearly loves what he does. At the end I was able to purchase the oils I tried and I'm happy to say they survived the journey home in my suitcase. I can't wait to start using them in my meals. I highly recommend going and enjoying this delightful experience, you will not regret it!

This was a fabulous experience, such fun and such a wonderful couple. The food we made was fabulous, Tzatziki, Eggplant salad, Baked Feta, Lamb kebab, prawns with sweet chili sauce, Swiss chard, and creamy Greek yoghurt with apricots….also a cocktail with Martina, made with resin…. I am traveling by my self and they did not act like this was at all unusual…so if you are a solo traveler you’ll be made to feel so welcome. And it is so nice to actually visits someone’s home.

Everything she serves is homemade, including the fresh bread that comes out of the oven still warm. She loves to share her knowledge of cooking, ingredients and combinations — and does so in a relaxed, accessible way.Thanos really knows how to get everything perfectly flavored and cooked. Together they bring their Austrian and Greek roots to life in original, tasty dishes that you will talk about for a long time.This cooking class is not only educational, but also an experience that touches — thanks to the lovely people, the delicious flavors and the warm atmosphere. My evening at Dionissis and Eleni's Home was an absolute delight! The Homemade Gyro and Souvlaki Night, powered by IT IS GREEK, was an authentic Greek culinary experience like no other. From the warm hospitality to the mouthwatering flavors, every detail was impeccable. I left feeling nourished, satisfied, and eager to return for more delicious Greek fare. Highly recommend!

What a great idea it is! We always wanted not just to eat local food, but also learn how to do it, so that we keep the taste memories back home! Dionysis and Eleni create an unforgettable experience, a funny and tasty one!

Great experience !! We had the chance to make bougatsa, a traditional sweet pie of thessaloniki, and we kept the recipe! Cozy living room and we chose our jazz hits! We'll be back for sure.

Really enjoyed our cooking class. Konstantina was an amazing guide. Really enjoyed walking through the market to get the food and talking. The cooking class itself was really fun and informative. Being in a restaurant with no one else there was really cool. Everyone was so nice, and the food was delicious.

This is a must-do activity when in Thessaloniki (and it is my third time visiting Agni Farm and doing cooking classes with Maria). It is always the highlight of my trip. It is so fun to spend the day with this wonderful family on their beautiful farm and learn to make amazing Greek dishes from their products (even the meat for the meatballs was from their cows, the eggs from their chickens, the vegetables from their garden, the feta was from their sheep's milk, the flour was milled from their own wheat - all very healthy and fresh). She is also accommodating with dietary restrictions, and I have used her recipes many times when I go home. Don't hesitate to sign up for this amazing experience. A+ from beginning to end.
