Beautiful tour of the wine country
We had the pleasure of having Rachel as our tour guide to the beautiful wine countryside. We were a little anxious at first about the travel plans but Rachel was so accessible and answered all our questions. She was right there when we got off the train and away we went. She listened to what we wanted out of the tour and made it so personal and enjoyable. She is extremely knowledgeable. She took us to a lovely castle to tour first and then onto the winery's for tastings. Afterwards she drove us to a few locations where we could take pictures of the most amazing views. It was loads of fun traveling around in her jeep too. The weather was perfect as was the entire day. Rachel really made it special for us. It was one of the highlights of our trip!

A warm September afternoon in Maçonnais
We had a fabulous afternoon with Clémence and the vintage land rover. We are not familiar with the area and because Clemence contacted us beforehand she tailored the trip beautifully to show us the local terroirs and landscape. The wineries we visited were well chosen with charming hosts (a special mention for Sophie), and generous tastings. I would thoroughly recommend.

A Great Day in Beaujolais
My husband and I took this Beaujolais wine tour and it was the highlight of our trip! Amelie was incredible and truly went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time. She gave us a bunch of recommendations for the rest of our trip and called to make reservations for us. During the tour, we visited three wine producers, a small one and two bigger ones. At each one we met and had conversations with locals in the wine industry and got to see the vineyard and production facilities. For lunch, we did the picnic in the vineyard, where we enjoyed beautiful views of the area and a lovely charcuterie plate from a local butcher, desserts from a local bakery, and a bottle of wine (fire danger was too high for a barbecue, but we didn’t mind). The car was bumpy and loud, so it may not be a great fit for everyone, but it was so much fun and provided a nice cool breeze! Overall, we are very glad we booked this, and even though it was a little expensive, we felt it was worth the money.

How do I express the joy and happiness that Amélie and this day brought to our trip. She was amazing, she knew so much about the region, the wine and the terroir. I would book this again in a heartbeat and if I had more time, I would have booked longer with Amélie. It was like spending the day with my best friend, and enjoying food, wine, knowledge and the amazing company. I cannot explain how amazing and thoughtful she was in how she planned our adventure and took us to places we would have never found on our own. Merci beaucoup Amélie.

Vineyard Experience
This was a very interesting tour. We visited two vineyards, and learned a great deal about the growing techniques. The vineyards do not use pesticides, and pick the grapes by hand- no mechanical pickers. The tour guide was excellent both in knowledge of wine and keeping to the schedule.

François was a excellent tour guide! Extremely informative and a history buff to boot! It was raining in the morning but he adapted the tour to accommodate my mother who preferred to stay in while we toured Pérouges. By the time we reached Annecy the rain had stopped and his recommendation for lunch was beyond just amazing! Only thing we’d have done differently was to ONLY ORDER fondu for one! We did fondo for 2 with another dish and salad to split between 4 people and sooooooo sadly left a large amount of cheesy heaven behind😩 Annecy is beautiful with a view of the French alps and crystal clear water..truly a amazing day!

What a great day! Benoit reached out to us ahead f time to ensure we had the correct train, transportation from the train and that we packed for the weather. We had wine tastings, snacks, stoped for a lunch he arranged and he kindly dropped us off at dinner so we could eat before getting back on the train.He even made sure we had a ride from restaurant to station.Benoit was funny, kind and very very knowledgeable about the wine region and wines. It was a fun learning experience.The laced we went were amazing, the last be a small hidden gem with a cute little dog!!Very enjoyable. Highly recommend! Ask for Benoit!

Dennis welcomed us warmly before the start of the trip, demonstrating a deep understanding of the history of the whole region, wine production, even the cultivation of vineyards, even for those who did not know much about wine can quickly get to know and can ask questions at any time, Dennis is willing to answer seriously, if you are looking for a suitable trip for fewer people, I highly recommend that you book and enjoy this activity!

Alex was a great insider and the food was wonderful! We discovered an area on the peninsula called Ainay that has quaint restaurants and very few tourists. Our guide was a walking encyclopedia and took care of us as a host rather than just a guide. We ended up spending way more time together talking about French culture and politics, all in all a great moment we will remember this.
