We did the kayak tour into the bay and the caves, and our guide was Alexis… She was quite amazing and made sure that we were all kept safe and was watching us the whole time as well…. It wasn’t that expensive and it was one of the funniest things I’ve ever done. I would recommend this to anybody…. He just have to have some decent upper body strength, not too much and you’ll do just fine. :)

Our first visit to San Diego would not have been complete without sailing with Captain Doyle around the San Diego Bay. He had extensive knowledge of all of the vessels that we saw including United States Military vessels, as well as other others and their historical significance. Cabin oil was also able to point out all of the landmarks and structures that were on the coastal area.

My wife and I did this tour in early September 2026 and we had such an amazing time.Firstly, a big shout out and huge thank you to our guide and driver, Paul Anthony, who really made the experience. He was incredibly knowledgeable about San Diego & the local wineries, sharing loads of really interesting information throughout the trip.We visited two beautiful vineyards over 5 hours, both had their own 'personalities' and highlights, a really lovely atmosphere, great views, friendly staff, and obviously an amazing selection of wines. The tour was really well organised, with plenty of time to enjoy each vineyard so we didn't feel rushed. The food was fantastic too, especially the pizza and (huge!) salad we had at the second winery.The whole experience was relaxed, enjoyable and great value, and we couldn't have asked for a better introduction to the San Diego wine region. 5*, highly recommended!

This wine tour was amazing! We visited 2 vineyards in 5 hours. Both vineyards were charming and the wines were great. We were served a wonderful Charcuterie tray at the first vineyard and a pizza and salad at the second. Our driver and guide, Paul Anthony was so knowledgeable about the San Diego area and the wines that we were tasting. Couldn’t ask for a better tour!

3 of us went on a tour. 1 single kayak and 1 double kayak. We were nervous not being experienced, but Dash and Kyle were very helpful. The water wasn’t great to see below but the tour itself was very fun to listen to and we did see a few sea lions and the cave which was pretty.

Fantastic experience! Captain Aiden was capable, knowledgeable, and friendly. My daughter and I had a great time sailing the harbor and learning about the various boats we saw along with the architecture and history of San Diego. Aiden helped me work on my sailing skills too. Another Side of San Diego Tours, Saved My LaJolla Day ...
I have to give lots of praise to the gentleman owner of Another Side of San Diego Tours and my tour guide, Julia! When another tour company cancelled my food tour with less than 24 hours notice leaving me with no plans for my only full day in La Jolla, I was really bummed out and decided to reach out to Another Side of San Diego Tours to see if they had availbility, not expecting accommodation since it was so last minute, but boy did Another Side of San Diego Tours rise to the challenge and save my only day in La Jolla. My tour guide, Julia, shared a lot of great information about the wildlife and people living in the area. Julia sent me a bunch of pictures and videos from the day (which was much appreciated as a solo traveler) and we got to walk a beautiful coastal walking trail that I wouldn't have ventured on by myself. Seeing the sea lions and seals, as well as enjoying a lot of great information along the way - made the day! Thanks again, Another Side of San Diego Tours!
