We booked a private tour with Victor because we had 10 in our party. He was super accommodating and gave us all the information we needed prior to our trip which made us feel like we were in very capable hands. After reading some of the reviews, we were a little concerned about the intensity and safety of the hike. That’s the problem with reviews, you never know if people are over or under inflating their experiences. So, here’s the deal…my husband and I are 57 years old and not overly active, but we were athletes in our younger and thinner years. We hiked with our kids and nieces and nephews ranging from 24-37 years old. They all are in good shape and most were college athletes. That’s our backstory so you have an idea of who is writing this review. We met Victor in the parking lot and he provided gloves to all of us, which proved to be very much needed. I think it’s misleading to call this a hike. It was more of a trek through nature’s obstacle course. Hikes can get boring and redundant…not this one! IT WAS SO MUCH FUN!!! Yes, it was challenging at times (more for me, the “kids” had no problem) But Victor was always right there to guide me through. It was obvious he knew the route like the back of his hand. During some of the more tricky parts, he would stop and give specific instructions about where to put which foot where and how to maneuver across an area. The rope descent was fun- not scary at all. There was a part of the trip that we literally slid down the canyon which was a bit scary at first, but SO MUCH FUN once we did it. I think that was the vibe for our whole experience… a little intimidated about parts of the hike, but a feeling of accomplishment after dong it. NEVER did we feel unsafe, we just doubted our own ability at times. But what a feeling when we conquered an obstacle! I would 100% recommend this adventure to anyone with an adventurous spirit, who is looking for a unique experience with beautiful views , led by an experienced and capable guide. You will not regret it and it will give a memories of a lifetime!

Matt was very friendly, safe, communicative, knowledgeable, worked well with every age group within the group to make sure everyone was comfortable and learning, and made this trip unforgettable. I never knew there were so many types of life you can find in tide pools and Matt explained what all we were seeing, how they fit into the ocean ecosystem, and what we could do to help keep them safe and protected. Tide pool times are dependent on when the tide is lower so he explained why certain times of the year and day you could tide pool safely and others you couldn’t. He took pictures that he sent after the trip with notes on what animals or plants those pictures were of as a reminder of the trip. It was a great learning experience and safe for any age or experience level. I had a blast and would 100% book another trip soon! I highly recommend his tours and even ended up booking a snorkel trip later with SnorkelMatt because the experience was so good!

Victor was a great guide and shared a lot of helpful local knowledge. I did not find the hike too strenuous (some reviews had warned of this). But it is “technical” meaning there are some steep and tricky parts. Great views and features!

A wonderful afternoon walking around the historic town. Chaz provided great commentary along with many historic photos. A must for learning about old California.

It was a wonderful tour- we really enjoyed the history. Chaz was very knowledgeable and had pictures of the town from many years ago- which tied into the history - such a great idea.

Absolutely amazing time me and my 4 kids had! We went today 10/23/23 and it was rough weather but we made it all the way thru but of course we would they have there on real life Mermaid Devin on the beachshe never let us go getting thru the surf!! Christian and Brody held us on the edge of our kayaks with there amazing stories and knowledge of the area a beautiful tour even with the clouds 5 stars are not enough!!

Super easy reservations and check-in; very chill vibes. Has lockers, rinse off showers and changing rooms. Loved our guide Kaley; she was funny, informative, fun and helpful. Unfortunately the waves were crashing into the cliffs, so no way could we go into the caves, and despite Mother Nature ruining that for our small group, Kaley really made it a great adventure anyway. Will definitely come back and do it again when the waves are less moody and dangerous.

Raul was the perfect tour guide. The restaurant choices presented us with cuisine from the area. We learned the about the culture and important people that shaped La Jolla. It was an enjoyable afternoon.

Raul was pleasurable and informative. The food and beverages were nice. The locations were beautiful. No rush. Sma group.

Brody an Josiah were awesome!! We had such a great time! Everyone who worked there was so helpful. We definitely recommend this company for kayaking.

This was a fabulous kayak adventure. Our guides were very skilled and took their time so everyone could enjoy the scenery, birds and seals. Highly recommend this adventure.

Great tour, great guides, Devin and Phil M. were friendly and knowledgeable. Saw fish, sea lions, dolphins... swam through caves. Highly recommend if you enjoy outdoor adventures

The waves were very calm. Everyone was super friendly and on time. Got to see seals, leopard sharks, birds and such.

We absolutely loved our e bike ride with Adam! He was knowledgeable and fun and showed us the best of the best! It was a great experience!

Excellent place for a first time surf and the instructor was awesome helping us with riding waves after a few minutes on the water.

Great experience, friendly team and safe facilities for leaving valuables. Well priced and deposit all returned safely. Wow swimming with the sea lions was surreal. Definite recommend and 5 star
