Top Kauai Helicopter Tours

This was the first helicopter ride for both my husband and I...it was amazing and so fun! It was a great way to see the beauty of kauai, especially because many of the roads and parks are still closed to cars after the hurricane.

Wow What a great experience, We saw so much of this beautiful island and our guide gave us lots of information all the way. Thanks Nic for this beautiful and safe flight.

Very knowledgeable and cautious pilot who showed us the most he could given the weather forecast. We saw all 3 active volcanoes and their lava flows, as well as the beautiful beaches and other points of interest along the Kohala coast.

Great flight, saw a lot and the pilot did his best to show interesting views to passengers on both sides of the plane. Thanks for a wonderful experience

Amazing views. 6 people plus pilot on the helo. Felt very safe, pilot was a great guide of the island.

Our private doors-off helicopter tour with Aliʻi Air Tours was easily one of the highlights of our time on Kauaʻi, and the entire experience was excellent from check-in through landing.Kendra handled our check-in, and everything was prompt, organized, and easy to understand. She gave us some great advice about what to wear for a doors-off flight and made sure we understood the safety requirements before heading out to the helicopter. Our pilot, Will, was outstanding. Before takeoff, he thoroughly walked us through the aircraft, safety procedures, what to expect once we were in the air, and the itinerary for the flight. In the air, he struck exactly the right balance—very professional and knowledgeable, but also relaxed and conversational. It never felt like he was simply reciting the standard tourist-guide script. Our visit came shortly after Hurricane Lowell, so some of the tour naturally included discussion of the storm damage and what Kauaʻi and its residents had been through. I especially appreciated the way Will handled that part of the flight. He discussed what we were seeing with genuine empathy and respect, rather than treating the damage as another sightseeing attraction. That attitude carried through the entire Aliʻi team. Everyone repeatedly thanked us for coming to Kauaʻi and supporting local businesses during the island's recovery. Considering everything they had recently experienced, their hospitality and enthusiasm were remarkable. And, of course, seeing Kauaʻi from a doors-off helicopter is spectacular. The scenery is incredible, but having a great crew makes the experience that much better.I couldn't recommend Aliʻi Air Tours more highly. Kendra and Will were fantastic, everything ran smoothly, and we would absolutely fly with them again on a future trip to Kauaʻi. 🚁🌺

Great time with fabulous views, whole experience was great from reception through flight and Pilot was great.

My wife and I had a blast! Private chopper flight in Kauai is the way to go. Our pilot, Matt, was a good young man, took us to sights we would not have been able to see on our own, and gave us good info as he circled/hovered around the interesting points. They also provided a phone holder for your phone during flight. We took some memorable photos and videos. It wasn’t cheap but soooo worth it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Would not be disappointed! The thrill of having the doors off and the great views of the island where normally you can’t see make it worth it. Very fun and felt safe from start to finish. Chrissy was an amazing pilot. 10/10 excursion!

So amazing. Since we got there the crew was so nice and so kind. The flight with Wayne was great... The highlight from our trip to the Islands of Hawaii.

This trip was amazing. Truly breathtaking views. Our pilot, Ross, was extremely informative and I felt safe the entire time. It was cool to see all over the island. I also applaud the company for pushing forward with the tours even though the hurricane went through a few days ago. Would definitely recommend.

This tour did not disappoint!! This was the highlight of our two weeks on three islands in Hawaii!! We felt comfortable the entire time. The views were just amazing!

Steve was our pilot and being this was my first time in a helicopter I was very nervous. He made me feel very assured we were very safe. This trip was worth every penny. This company is a little more money but you will not be sorry to spend the extra. The sites, the information given and even his play list was perfect!!!

Professional and friendly business. Steve was our pilot and he was so funny and knowledgeable. Incredible experience seeing the island this way as soon as we landed.

This was great, but a couple of things to note. - if you get there early, you can potentially purchase premium seats next to the pilot. We arrived an hour and 10 minutes early, but people were already there and had already done this so if you really want front seats, get there really early. The helicopter seats six so if you are a party of two, you don’t know who you’re going to be in the helicopter with. Which brings me to my next note. - The other party that we were with was a party of three people and one of the guys was a bit obnoxious. They sell a video at the end of your experience and of what you talk about on the tour and your views from outside the helicopter, and if we had purchased a video, it would’ve been a running commentary of this guy asking how much would it be to charter from this place or that place. And also asking what kind of fish were in a school of fish hundreds of feet below that literally nobody could answer. This is in no way of fault of the company, but just to make you aware of other parties that you could be a part of and if you really want to front seat to get there super early. Overall good experience we just got unlucky with another party. And when I say another party, just one boomer. Thank you to our pilot for his patience.

this was the best excursion i’ve ever done in kauai!!! the pilot was great and the staff was the absolute best.. especially cassie and titi! i would do this excursion every time i come to kauai
