This remains one of the best tours we’ve taken. The tasting is the point: sugarloaf pineapple, raw pepper, and the other local fruit they pass around were all excellent.The chocolate itself is some of the best artisan chocolate we’ve had. Their macadamia nuts with toffee beat what we’ve tried from other Hawaii chocolatiers.We’ve done the tour two or three times. It is still our chocolate and honey stop across the islands—Oahu, Maui, the Big Island, and Kauai. We’ve been to Switzerland. This is better. In fact my Wife and I continue to order chocolate from Lydagate. Highly recommend.

Just want to give a shout out to our tour guide Henry! He was really good at explaining everything, answering questions and really seems to care about the farm. My husband and I did this tour the day we were leaving the island and it did not disappoint. We had no idea what went into making chocolate. And I found out that I DO like dark chocolate 😊

What an amazing and truly beautiful experience! The outdoor tea ceremony was peaceful, grounding, and unlike anything I’ve experienced before. Spending 45 minutes in meditation and complete silence, surrounded by nature and the ritual of tea, allowed me to slow down, be present, and simply enjoy the moment.The entire ceremony felt intentional, calming, and meaningful. I left feeling refreshed, centered, and grateful. Such a special experience that I would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a moment of peace and connection. 🍃🫖✨

We had the most amazing time at our cooking class! It was my 13 year old son’s first time taking a cooking class. He absolutely loved it.Aletha is a warm, patient, and kind chef and welcoming hostess. The food was delicious. Recipes easy to follow, most importantly, stories and customs that accompany them. My favorite part of traveling is immersing myself in local customs and trying to learn about communities, whether it be through cooking, local dances, calligraphy, pottery, etc. Sign up for this, you won’t regret it!

The Bee Experience was one of the highlights of our trip. It was hands-on, educational, and surprisingly fun for both kids and adults. We learned so much about honeybees, got an up-close look inside a working hive, and even suited up to safely interact with the bees. The guides were knowledgeable, patient, and clearly passionate about what they do.Our son was completely engaged from start to finish, and we all left with a much greater appreciation for bees and the important role they play. The fresh honey tasting at the end was the perfect finishing touch.If you’re looking for something unique, authentic, and memorable, I highly recommend the Bee Experience. It’s well worth the visit.

Great experience- really enjoyed the class and hearing about the history and significance of the food we were preparing and eating. Everything we did was very approachable for us, and it was a great start to our tip in Kauai

This experience was truly unique. The tour started with free macadamia nuts, cacao tea, and apple-bananas. The staff and guys were incredibly friendly and focused on our comfort and to accommodate if necessary. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and personable; they explained each different plant, its origins, and answered a carrie variety of questions. The fruit tasting was really enjoyable as well, and of course, trying cacao and chocolate. This tour overall was really well done; however, my only complaint lies in how long the duration of the tour was. Going into this, I thought that three hours was far too long, while some reviews assured me that it wasn’t. My own personal opinion is that the tour could be an hour shorter as near the end we tasted different chocolate, but it felt very slow and repetitive; it felt like we were being talked at rather than learning with the group as we had previously done throughout the tour. I would have liked to have just tried the chocolate in a similar fashion to the fruit tasting, and I was hoping to learn more about the process they specifically use and potentially see more in depth than the surface-level one they showed. I’m very grateful for this experience, and the chocolate was absolutely delicious.

Jess was an amazing guide! We tasted our way through the farm’s fruits while learning about the history, the plants and the bees! The chocolates are so delicious!
