An excellent full day tour with good variety
This was our second tour (of three) with this company and I highly recommend them. Our driver/guide for this one was Ben, who was excellent. He grew up in this area and even pointed out his childhood neighbourhood and homes of relatives. We stopped briefly at Dornach, a lovely village with some nice shops and a beautiful Church. Dunrobin Castle is fascinating. We really enjoyed the demonstration of falconry led by falconer Andy in the garden. If your schedule allows for this, it is worth it. (We only had time for about half of it). Note that dogs are not allowed in the castle or near the falconry area. We found John O'Graots to be a bit of an anticlimax with not much to do once you take the obligatory picture by the famous mileage sign. Happily, Ben added in a trip to the nearby Sea Stacks, which look like hoods dropped into the ocean. A long day with return to Inverness at 7:30 p.m.

This tour is fantastic! Our tour guide Cualann was as informative as he was engaging. He regaled us with history and folklore tales all along Loch Ness, across the highlands and around the Isle of Skye. The Fairy Pools were beautiful and he stopped at many other sites throughout our day trip. The tour was a highlight of our visit to Scotland!

Our guide did a nice time with entertaining and telling stories as well as sharing historical facts. Some beautiful stops and wonderful weather made the day perfect. Only drawback was that many of the businesses at the Ft. Augustus stop were closing for the day as we stopped. High point was getting to the and riding the Jacobite/Hogwarts Train.

Such an easy way to travel from Inverness to Skye! Very comfortable coach for a long drive. We stopped for toilet breaks the right amount. We had great weather for the castle. The inside isn’t too spectacular and I should have saved the entrance fee and spent more time on the grounds and with the view. We had terrible weather in Skye but still had some very dramatic, very Scottish views of the cliffs and sea.Our tour guide Charlie was the best! His knowledge of Scottish history and the stories behind everything we passed was terrific. He kept us engaged throughout even though the weather caused some sights to be missed. Thank you, Charlie! If you want to visit Skye, this is a great, relaxing way, and the Scottish weather just is what is. Great photos, memories, and stories.
