Inverness 2026 Calendar of Events

This tour was honestly one of the best trips I’ve ever been on. Our tour guide, Martin, was such a huge part of this. Even with everything working against us with road closures, no fairy pools, and torrential rain/storms we still saw and did so much. Martin made an absolute amazing day with all the improvised changes. His knowledge, humor, and driving skills were top notch. Cannot recommend this trip enough! It truly was a perfect day trip and 1000% worth it.

We Thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle. Wonderful trip upon Loch Ness and loved our visit to Urquhart Castle. Spectacular scenic views and we are so lucky to have to had blue sky on the day. All staff were helpful throughout. Recommend this tour.

This 2 day tour was top class. Our driver and guide Jack, was knowledgeable, friendly accommodating and very entertaining. He ensured that we saw everything it was possible to see in the 2 days including an up close and personal encounter with some very docile highland cows which was great fun! In all it was a wonderful experience. Thank you Timberbush and Jack!

Alan was my tour driver/guide. Even though it rained and was blustery out he made the enjoyable with his knowledge and humor. Very warm and friendly personality.

Very simple and ideal way to see a part of the Lough and the famous castle. The boat has sonar so if your lucky you may catch at glimpse of the Lough Ness Monster! It also offers a great opportunity to learn about the Lough, geology, history, lore etc..

Really great tour, definitely worth the price. Highly recommended.

Rafal was a wonderful guide. Lots of interesting stories and information. He was kind and patient with us. Customizing the tour to our needs. The car is immaculate. He thought of everything. He had extra ponchos, umbrellas and water and snacks. Bonus he also takes great group photos :) Thanks!

Really enjoyed this, the whole experience from booking, paying, finding and getting to the departure point was extremely easy and pain free. The cruise itself was very pleasant, informative guide and a very convivial atmosphere onboard, thoroughly recommend the hot chocolate with a shot of whisky😉 I was very pleased that they position the boat so you can take photographs of the legendary “Urqhuart Castle” and its surroundings, whilst not seeing ‘Nessie’ I’m sure a few more hot chocolate toddies would’ve helped no end, thoroughly recommend

The tour is beautiful, the weather is well distributed, and our guide, Harrison, is nice, kind, fun, and very professional. The soundtrack featured many Scottish songs, further contributing to the atmosphere surrounding the Isle of Skye. I loved the tour and want to do others. I recommend!

Had a great ride with Donald. He was friendly, professional and asked how we were doing along the journey (ensuring we continued to feel good/safe on the bikes). He had lots of knowledge/history to share about the various places we stopped. Although it did mist and rain much of the time, the ebikes felt sturdy. Be sure to have waterproof rain jacket (and pants/leggings you don’t mind getting splattered with mud from all the puddles which sometimes cannot be avoided). Some of us also had gloves that helped keep us warm/dry). I highly recommend this ebike adventure with Donald.

Tim our tour guide was fantastic! He had great insight to the area we visited and he gave us plenty of time to walk around the different sites. Tim was very personable and professional.

This was a great tour and our guide, Tony, was the best. It was a private tour, just 3 of us, so he was able to make the tour personal. He showed us places that the big buses can't go. He treated us to Scottish treats, even a homemade one made by his mother! We all said this was our favorite tour because of Tony! Now we are hoping to go back someday and will definitely use Tony to show us other parts of beautiful Scotland!
