So worth the time and money
The hummingbird experience was a once in a lifetime experience. Hugo was an amazing guide. So very knowledgeable on a breadth of topics and a genuinely nice man. We did the chocolate tasting and it was done very personally. Do the chocolate mask. Well worth it. We had a 2nd chocolate tasting at another company in Quito and it didn't come close to the one we did in Mindo.

We booked this tour directly through the website quitotourbus.com. But since we wanted multiple tours, we messaged Quito Tour Bus via Whatsapp, told them which tours we wanted, and they sent the payment link so we could pay a one-time payment. Mitad del Mundo tour was amazing. From before boarding the double decker bus to the end of the tour back at Naciones Unidas, Pamela, our tour guide, and Oscar our bus driver, both were fantastic people. Pamela gave us history brief about Quito, diverse geography of Ecuador, and the surrounding mountains and volcanoes. She was knowledgeable, and she imparted that knowledge in a fun and interesting way. Highly recommend this trip to learn more about Quito and why it IS the middle of the world.

Oscar was a very good guide and Luis did a nice job driving us. We saw condors in flight and resting on the cliffs, numerous hummingbirds and other birds like a Cara-cara and ibis. It was raining pretty hard when we arrived at the lagoon so we didn’t spend much time there but it looked nice. Finally, our lunch was outstanding - terrific local cuisine served ina. Very cozy atmosphere with a clear view of the cliffs and condors.

Ximena was amazing!! This was seriously one of the best days of our lives. She was kind enough to extend our tour when it went long due to holiday traffic.We have limited time in Ecuador and this tour is a great way to see everything with minimal time. In 14 hours we saw 11 waterfalls, zip-lined, did 2 hikes, crossed bridges, rode in gondolas, shopped, ate delicious food & enjoyed drinks & more. Seriously cannot recommend enough! Ximena was knowledgeable, friendly, personable and really added to an already wonderful experience. Book this!!!

Yamil and Mattias showed the best hospitality while proving a tour of this city. They gave us the best map of the old and the new Guayaquil within a 3 hour time frame which I know was difficult. I would definitely recommend booking with them.

Yamil was a great guide and offered top-notch service for us here in Guayaquil!! He punctually met and picked us up at our hotel where we then proceeded to go on a historical tour around the area followed by some of the best views and sights the city has to offer, all while explaining the history and significance/relevance of it all. Towards the end of the trip we went to a local shop and learned all about Cocoa and the different varieties as well as got to see how it’s processed from start to finish, and finally we capped the tour with a ceviche masterclass and some homemade hot chocolate he so kindly made with us at his home followed by an amazing local dish his wife prepared to enjoy with us. Definitely an amazing experience that won’t be forgotten!

Had a fantastic experience with this tour. Flavio was punctual, contacted us early to brief us on the plan, coordinated well and gave a good description of the many interesting sights along the trip. Only thing I would change is to leave a bit earlier than the 1030am that I chose to have a better hike around Cajas National Park. Everything else was well executed

We had a very safe and enjoyable drive from Guayaquil to Cuenca yesterday with Adrian, our driver. While a short stop at a roadside Mango stand to pick up some delicious fresh Mangos was fun, the stop at the small, off the beaten path Chocolate farm was the high point. After a nice arepa and fresh juice lunch with the owner, we proceeded to learn how to make fresh chocolate from Cacao fruit picked from his trees. And the fresh hot chocolate made from the chocolate we made was also delicious. A later stop to the Cajas Park was also interesting - just bring a jacket as it was very cool in the mountain. All in all, this trip was a great value and I highly recommend it.

I reached out to Jamie & Angela from Let’s Go Ecuador for a day tour to the Otavalo Market, and they were super responsive. They answered all our questions clearly, and we felt very comfortable communicating with them.Our guide for the day was Freddy, and he was excellent. He arrived punctually at our hotel, and we felt very safe with his driving. The car was well-maintained, and he had such a calm and fun demeanor. We chatted about many different topics, and he was incredibly knowledgeable about Ecuador. Since we don’t speak Spanish, he kindly haggled on our behalf and helped us get fair prices. He even carried our bags for us—such a thoughtful gesture!I highly recommend booking with Let’s Go Ecuador Tours. I personally love shopping, and Otavalo Market is amazing. There’s so much to buy, so I recommend starting early, around 6:30 a.m., to make the most of your time. Be sure to bring cash, especially smaller bills ($5, $10, $20), and carry a shopping bag for all your purchases. The market is vibrant, colorful, and full of unique items—I could easily spend five hours shopping here. It’s such a cool experience!
