Mark gave us an excellent spooky tour of Ilfracombe on a warm evening in August. Both kids were suitably spooked and inspired! Without giving anything away, the tour was family friendly, sensitively grizzly and made for a great family experience.

Mark was a great tour guide! We over booked and he accommodate our group on another date. Turning our kids from a walking tour being boring to wanting to go on more ghost tours. They learnt loads of history too so even better, got some exercise and time off their phones (until we got back and they wanted to watch all the ghost hunting videos). Thank you Mark definitely a high point of our holiday so far. We can't wait to see if we can make other events you run.

Very interesting and informative guided tour of the High Street and Fore Street in Ilfracombe. Highly recommend. Opened up the town historically and made us look at the buildings properly. There's so much to see in the town, this type gave us a great bump start.

We enjoyed listening to all the stories and history of the harbour. Some of which were really interesting, it was a misty night which added to the atmosphere! The guide was really good however we were a little disappointed ot to learn about the morgue which now serves as a pub next door to the George and Dragon. Never the less we had a brilliant time and worth every penny.

Such an experience! Been on multiple ghost tours all around the UK and this is up there as one of the best. No jump scares or silly props and costumes - the guide was passionate and knowledgeable about Ilfracombe and its history, and more than happy to stay and chat long after the tour had ended. He was informative, enthusiastic and very kind, putting up with all my questions. The tour itself is a sensible 90 minutes or so, from one of the pubs to the harbour. There is a lot of standing around so please wear comfortable shoes. But the stories were captivating! Our guide handled the rowdy drunk locals like a pro, too, even in the middle of a full on fist fight in the street - so I'd like to personally thank the guide for being so calm and professional and making us feel safe. And also for answering all my questions! We ended the tour on the end of the harbour at sunset and it was just perfect. Highly recommend if you're in Ilfracombe and love ghost stories and history!

We really enjoyed this ghost tour. No jump scares or props, just a really interesting glimpse into the history and ghost stories of the area. The guide was engaging and knowledgeable and held everyone captivated with stories that were backed with historical facts. We will be back to join another tour.
