From the moment Jake (and his dog Kaia) picked us up in Darwin CBD, we knew this was going to be a great day. We kicked things off with a river boat cruise and a delicious breakfast on board - the perfect, relaxed start to the adventure.Jake's knowledge was next level. He didn't just talk crocs - he gave us a real appreciation for the whole ecosystem, the birdlife, and how it all fits together. You can tell this isn't just a job for him, it's a genuine passion, and it made the whole experience so much richer.Then came the airboat ride, which was lots of animal encounters from start to finish. Feeding the big crocs was an absolute highlight - equal parts thrilling and unforgettable.To top it all off, we finished with a scenic helicopter ride and relaxed by the pool with a cold beer, still buzzing from the day.Fun, informative, relaxing, and thrilling all in one — this place checks every box. If you're heading to the Top End, do not miss this experience!

Awesome memorable day!Started with a spectacular sunrise above pillows of cloud.Jake our pilot kept the secret of the helicopter ride which was a surprise birthday present for Chad. Exhilarating experience with the doors off a must do !!!Jake was a 10/10 pilot! Professional, amiable and a wealth of knowledge. Felt like he was our mate taking us on an adventure.Yellow tail cruise was even more spectacular with up close contact with crocs and birdlike. Dennis ( two n's) was animated and passionate about describing this beautiful part of our country and its link to the aboriginal people ❤️Highly recommended for all to explore our own backyard 🤩🤩👏

We only had 3 days in Darwin and really wanted to see Kakadu. This seemed like a great option. Jordan was our pilot. He was informative and enjoyable to spend the day with. We had an early start from Darwin, and flew to Katherine with sights pointed out from above. In Katherine we took a taxi to Katherine Helicopters where we got a thrilling helicopter tour of Katherine Gorge. Our pilot was a wealth of information, and seeing the gorge from that perspective was awesome. We then flew to Cooinda, and Jordan was able to point out Twin Falls and Jim Jim Falls. Very little water as it is dry season, but great to see these places. In Cooinda we had a look around before boarding the yellow water cruise. We enjoyed the cruise and saw lots of crocs and wetland birds. After the cruise we had an enjoyable lunch in Cooinda Lodge and then flew back to Darwin feeling like rockstars. We had a great day. The folks at Kookaburra Air have a well organized plan and Jordan was an absolute delight.

Absolutely brilliant, we did the day fishing and pub crawl. Proper bucket list stuff. Everyone was great to deal with and our pilot was awesome, even caught a Barra. Can’t recommend highly enough

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐We had an amazing day with Top End Safaris and couldn’t recommend them highly enough! The staff were exceptional and our tour guide was fantastic — knowledgeable, friendly and entertaining.There was something for everyone, with our group ranging from 12 to 80 years old, and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. We saw a jabiru on its nest, freshwater and saltwater crocodiles, buffalo and an incredible variety of birdlife. Watching the crocodiles being fed was a highlight, and the helicopter flight was absolutely incredible and made the experience even more special.We were also treated to a fantastic buffet-style breakfast, and finishing the day with a swim in the infinity pool and a drink at the bar was the perfect way to top it all off.A huge thank you to our wonderful guide and all the staff at Top End Safaris for making the day so enjoyable and memorable. It was definitely one of the highlights of our Top End trip and an experience we won’t forget.Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Picked up at Coolalinga. Great. Drive out about 1 1/2 hours. Introduction to guides. Saftey instructions done. Onto cruise boat, with huge, self serve breakie. Lots of photo opportunities. Next the air boat ride...spotting wild life again....back to land. Feeding of captured crocs. Lots of informative information. Back for refreshments and chopper rides....bused back to starting point. Great day out and thoroughly enjoyable. Thank you Top End
