Top Dalmatia Hiking & Camping

Staff was excellent and went out of their way to accommodate our needs . Friendly and fun team that worked well together providing us with a great experience! Wonderful way to get out and enjoy the natural beauty of Croatia . Exhilarating time !

I don't have enough superlatives to describe how much we enjoyed this activity. It was the highlight of our trip to Split & if we were here for longer, we would definitely book a repeat of this activity. Our guide, Frenk, was friendly, professional & provided clear instructions at all times. Likewise, the other guides from Go Adventure were also excellent. They are all an asset to the company. The provided equipment was clean & in good condition. We had our own water shoes & it was a hot day so we didn't need the offered neoprene shorts, but both are available to borrow if needed. The rapids are relatively tame, but they are still fun. Additionally, the serenity & beauty of the environment makes it a worthwhile activity in itself. We enjoyed paddling along in the beautiful surroundings almost as much as the rapids. Please note, this is not a suitable activity for non swimmers (apparently some people can't work that out for themselves). Likewise, it is not suitable for those with mobility issues or a fear of heights, because at the end of the activity there is a need to climb out of the raft, up onto rocks & then ascend the canyon wall via a fairly steep trail, whilst carrying the oars. Anyone of average fitness will manage that fine; it's not as daunting as it sounds. Another thing to note is that when choosing the transfer from Split, the meeting point is outside the Cool Destinations travel agency

My Wife and I did the sunset hike with Juri and it was the best experience. We truly felt like locals and the hospitality was unmatched. He was an excellent guide explaining the history of Dubrovnik and stopping at breathtaking viewpoints for pictures. We ended the night with a delicious snack and wonderful local wine. Highly recommend doing this hike to have the most amazing view of Dubrovnik!!

This Cool Destinations experience in Dubrovnik was one of the best we’ve ever had. Our guide Mare was fantastic—she handled the ferry tickets, got us boarded smoothly, and knew all the best hiking spots on the island. Just my husband and me (early 30s), and we covered a solid 5–6 miles with her. Wear tennis shoes and bring at least a 1.5-liter water bottle. Mare took us to a beautiful, secluded swimming spot where we had the place to ourselves and even did some cliff jumping. Pro tip: pack a sandwich for a picnic there so you can spend more time swimming and relaxing. She also shared a delicious protein cookie with us. Incredible day from start to finish!

Fun and adventurous experience, went with the family and was one of the highlights of our vacation. The guides Luka and Elisabeth were very friendly and helpful and help make the trip extra special. Would recommend.

Highlight of our cruise! Super friendly and professional guides—Joe, Luca, Mislav. No issues navigating descent and climbs, but beware out-of-shapers will be sore the following day.

We had a really great time! The water's so clear and clean and the scenery stunning. We felt really looked after and safe with our guide Ande (we switched to the more extreme canyoning and were pleased we did as it was exhilarating with the abseiling). We were a bit disappointed our guide didn't get photos of us at the big waterfall as he didn't abseil down like other guides were but instead met us further along the river. We had a hire car so didn't need picking up but there was a hiccup with the meeting point and we were hanging about for 45 mins but luckily someone from the office got back to us and sent a link to the location we were supposed to be (3 mins along the road). Luckily, we hadn't held any clients up as we were on our own as a group. Not for the faint hearted - great fun!Take an old pair of trainers if you don't want to wear the ones provided (definitely trainers not sea shoes as you need the grip).

Ivana is the most perfect tour guide! We really wanted to go visit Lokrum Island. I learned about the ferry that goes out there every half hour or so. I’m so glad that we booked the tour with Ivana from Whisper Walks! She is native to Dubrovnik. Just a wonderful guide and person, with a wealth of knowledge about the history of Croatia, Dubrovnik and all the plants and animals. She MADE our experience awesome. Without her we would have missed so many things from the plants to the history. She even made us marmalade to try. She just started touring last October out of her sheer joy of nature, Dubrovnik, and connecting with people, and it shows. I would highly recommend that whatever tour Whisper Walks offers to sign up if you want a fun, memorable and authentic experience.

Our guide was lovely. We circumvented the entire island with beautiful views all the way. Halfway through we stopped to swim. The water is so clear. It was a lovely excursion.

Amazing tour, about a 1 mile hike to make up for all the wine and food we have been eating while here. Wine and cheese at the end was great. Palo was great and immediately bonded with my grown children (17-24yo). Same view as the gondolas but so much more fun hiking to the top. Was not a difficult hike, did it in sneakers.

Aleksander took us on a special hike tailored for us since it was just 2 of us. He was chatty, nice, funny, and we had a lovely day. Then he helped us find a auto repair shop to fix our brakes. He called them directly and set it up for us. He went above and beyond and we highly recommend booking with him.

This tour with Ivana was absolutely amazing!! We started off with a tour through the old port and got a lot of historic information! We then took the ferry to Lokrum and walked all around the island. Ivana is very knowledgeable and gave us as much information as we could handle. We’d definitely like to recommend this tour and it’s so worth the money (which includes the entrance to Lokrum and the ferry).

Alexander was a great and enthusiastic guide. He not only brought us to as many hidden places as we interested in, he also gave us the historical and scientific context for the locations we visited. It’s a great trip, I can imagine how much fun it would be to swim in the Summer.

Great Experience and Great Guides! My daughter who is more adventurous than me and thought it was easy, but exciting experience.

Our family had amazing experience on our day trip around the Zadar area, all thanks to the wonderful organization by the agency and very kind and friendly lady Olga. She's amazing person, especially with kids. She was so nice and patient with our group. Everything was well planned. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore the beauty of the Zadar region in a smooth and enjoyable way. Thank you for a wonderful day and everything, it was our pleasure to enjoy this trip and meet you. Wish you all the best, and highly recommend to everyone to take a tour with this agency. Best wishes from Canada, Toronto.

The route was well planned, not too strenuous, and offered great views of the sea. Especially the sunset at the sea organ was unforgettable.Perfect mix of history, culture and nature – highly recommended!
