History, food, and nature - what a magical experience!
So worth the effort and cost!! Once in a lifetime experience. I would highly recommend a visit to this magical garden. Paddling through the sunrise and then learning about agricultural history of the area were amazing. We also got to meet an axylotl!

It is an unforgettable experience, our guides are very good and kind when explaining how to handle the kayak. Recommended to bring a change of extra clothes, to be able to change if you happen to get wet.

We had a wonderful...
We had a wonderful kayaking tour! It was a great experience that combined beautiful scenery with fascinating history about the islands, local farming, and the community. One of the highlights was enjoying a delicious local breakfast made with fresh ingredients harvested from a nearby farm. The tour was a perfect mix of adventure, culture, and authentic local experiences. Highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a memorable and unique experience!

Fun Beginner Kayak Xochimilco Experience
I loved all of the kind workers who made this experience great. Eduardo our driver was so kind and friendly. The kayak tour was a lot of fun, definitely would try going with my more experienced tour next time but great for beginners and introduction to xochimilco through the water.

The whole experience was great. We were picked up from our hotel, jumped straight into our kayaks and hit the canals. The farm is a family owned cooperative with a really interesting history, dating back hundreds, if not thousands of years. The food was incredible and could be made vegan on request (except the toppings on the bread since they were butter, cheese and honey). The history here is just incredible and worth having guides with a deep knowledge and personal connection to the area.

Great Morning Activity Surrounded By Nature
This was worth the early morning alarm if you like enjoying nature, getting some exercise, and aren't interested in the busier time later in the day. FYI The dock's bathrooms were not available before getting on the kayak, but with help of our guide, we were able to find a solution while out on the canals.

slow dawn, good company
Kind of a slowly dawning meditative journey. Saul pointed me into the inky 5am darkness. Slowly the surrounding banks woke up with dogs/music while light peered around night edges. There were lakeside monuments, inquisitive waterfowl, and fun lilly crossing challenges.Saul guided me through the history of his people in the area -- detailing the plant and animal participants in local land health. He graciously indulged all questions – even about the Mexico's elimination of an electoral-college type system back in their 1917 constitution.Between Saul's generosity, knowledge, and inquisitive ears, I thoroughly recommend this start to your day.
