Really nice. One of the boys has a history degree and he explains and gives you a resumé of bulgarian history through yogurt history. Also about the bulgarian traditions. It is a family business that deserves support...mom prepares the cupcakes (delicious) and the products (some homemade by her and others from local producers). Everything is good. Really nice and interasting. They are super polite, educated, well informed and funny.

This event was honestly amazing. It felt super cozy, relaxed, and really like a family gathering. George and his mom welcomed us like we were part of the family from the very beginning.We got to taste different kinds of yogurt and pastries, and at the same time learn a lot in a really natural, easygoing way. George didn’t just talk about the history and how yogurt is made, he also shared so many interesting things about Bulgarian culture and showed us a lot too.Both him and his mom were so kind and friendly, it just made the whole experience feel really special. And the yoghurt was intergalactic! 😊Thank you so much for the little gift and for the yogurt culture that Nadya packed for us to take home. My mom actually makes yogurt back in Slovakia, so she came here on what we jokingly called a “yogurt Erasmus” 😄We really feel lucky to have been part of this workshop!

Rado was great! He was very knowledgeable about Rakia and Bulgaria food, events, history, and places to visit. We were given several shots of Rakia to try, and several cold cuts, and he explained the process, region, and history of each one. He was very easy to talk to and gave excellent recommendations for things to do and restaurants and bars to visit. Highly recommend!

A rakia tasting experience with a local Bulgarian friend :)
Radoslav is an extremely likable guy, very warm and friendly, very polite, fluent in English and a great story-teller. This is not your typical tasting session, it is like sitting at a table with your local Bulgarian friend. Take my advice while you are there and take advantage of his wide local knoweledge for things to do and places to go during your stay in Sofia. And don't let the dodgy entrance put you off - many buildings in Sofia are like that - Radoslav's apartment is cozy and elegant. We were 3 guests and Radoslav, and we all had a really lovely time with lots of laughs and a very warm feeling in the end. Of course rakia has played its part, we had the chance to try 5 (or 6?) different rakia bottles of premium quality and some really tasteful local cold cuts. Overall a really memorable experience. Thank you my friend!

We highly recommend this adventure to lovers of authentic food and nature. We spent a few hours in the company of the amazing hosts, delicious truffle dishes and cherry rakia. The walk in the hazelnut garden with our guide - the dog Claire, was an incredible experience!

Truffle hunting with Casey, Angel and Claire the dog! An amazing trip in the countryside! First an invigorating walk searching for truffles under the hazel bushes. And Claire found enough truffles for Casey to cook delicious dinner for all of us! Dinner was served in the cosy Truffle Room where we warmed up next to the huge fireplace ( and also by the fiery cherry Brandy they produce on the estate)! We ate, we drank, we met nice, warm people and we had the best of time! Thank you, Casey and Angel for your hospitality, for your warmth and the passion you put in everything you do! We'll come again! That's a promise!

We were thinking for quite some time to attend the rose festival but we wanted all to be taken care of. From start to finish this activity was impeccable. We took some many included activities in Damascene and Kazanlak and we were the whole day occupied. Wonderful!

The experience was amazing! My son and I were visiting from the states and wanted a traditional local experience!! We tasted 5 different honeys with the traditional Bulgarian pastry, mekitsi. My favorite was the echinacea honey. My son’s was the local insect gathered honey. The tea with honey was also amazing!! We got several travel experience trip tips! All in all, we loved it!

Our tour turned out to be amazing—far beyond our expectations. We initially thought it would be just a simple food and wine tasting, but it ended up being surprisingly incredible. Radoslav is an exceptional host and storyteller who generously shares his deep knowledge, from the history and aging of Rakia to the premium cold cuts and cheeses he serves. He also gives thoughtful recommendations on places to visit, including the best times and seasons to go. Throughout the experience, it felt less like a tour and more like being welcomed by a longtime friend into his country, sharing stories and travel life along the way. I highly recommend this tour, especially as the perfect way to cap off your last night in Sofia, Bulgaria, before heading home.
