We had a lovely experience with Fabio and Anita enjoying a Swiss Fondue Dinner. We were graciously invited into the home for good conversation, Proseco and amazing hors d’ oeuvres . They are both welcoming and cordial! The real star of the show was a wonderful cheese fondue served with bread, pickles, mushrooms and potatoes. Rich and creamy served in beautiful stoneware on a burner. Our evening was capped off with a traditional apple torte. Bubbles, wine and amaro paired with delicious food and interesting company . It was a lovely experience. We highly recommend this experience!

We spent a wonderful evening in Basel at the hosts home. They served us a beautiful meal, much of it right from their garden. The wine was locally made by a friend of theirs and amazing! Fabio and Anita are great. We had so much fun getting to know them and talking about their backgrounds. It happened to be their wedding anniversary and they joined us for dessert which was just perfect. We spent our evening in their garden because the weather was perfect. Don’t hesitate to book this!Additionally, their home was easy to get to even for us small town people who live where there is no public transportation. We were able to easily navigate the tram system and it drops you off a block from their home.

Such a great experience! In one evening we learned each step of making lasagna from scratch, from crafting the perfect pasta dough to layering it with home-made sauces. The ingredients we used were of the highest quality and fresh (wich is important for me). After cooking, we sat down to enjoy our meal with a perfectly paired glass of wine, turning the experience into a delightful dining event. The host and his family are wonderful people, I was very pleased to get to know them and hope to visit them again in the future! In the end we not only learned how to cook lasagna from scratch, but also became friends with this wonderful family. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking to dive into Italian culture, improve their cooking skills, or simply enjoy a fantastic meal in a warm and welcoming environment. 11/10!!

The occasion was great and is highly recommended. Anita and Fabio have guided us perfectly through the process of making lasagne. The lasagna was very delicious.

It was a special evening. The hosts opened their home to us and gave us an opportunity to visit with them. We got to know them and what a nice traditional meal in a home setting was like. Just like visiting with friends you haven’t met yet.

We were in Basel for only a few days of a 2 week vacation through Europe. We were looking for something different to do and take a break from a typical restaurant experience and we found it with Fabio and Anita’s focaccia and pizza making class. They welcomed us into their beautiful home with a cocktail and appetizers in their garden then on to the hands-on lesson… what an absolute blast. We learned so much about the process and the importance of quality ingredients as well as their insights of living in the beautiful city of Basel. They are beyond thoughtful. It was my birthday trip and I don’t eat tiramisu which is on the planned menu/lesson but they quickly pivoted and we made a flourless chocolate cake. We feasted on the delicious focaccia, pizza and cake along with a bottle of Chianti and lots of laughs. This night was truly a highlight of the trip and we cannot recommend it enough!!

Fabio and his family were so charming and inviting! Their home is lovely and their gardens are amazing! All of our food was home grown and homemade. We had so many courses I lost track! The fondue was so delicious and the wines were perfect and plentiful! Would HIGHLY recommend this experience.

I tasted and learned how to make the most incredible lasagna I have ever had the pleasure of tasting. Each bite was an explosion of flavors, clearly the result of a totally artisanal preparation. In addition, the experience was enriched by a company that from the first moment made us feel at home, thank you Fabio. I highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for exceptional food, warm company and a spectacular culinary experience.

The course was a lot of fun and I loved that we were able to participate ourselves. It was very funny and I spent a great afternoon here+ delicious food!
