Top Austrian Alps Climbing

Me and my 14 year old son visited and had the best time. We chose the option to be collected from the hotel which made things super easy. We only needed to bring clean pair of shorts to change into as all other items are provided. Out guide Richard was amazing and made the experience even better. Fully recommend this for families, couples or groups. This was our first time doing anything like this and can’t wait to book something similar again!!!!

Our canyoning was amazing. Richard was our guide and he was fun and helpful, he was great. You only need your swim suit and a towel. They provide everything else. We used the pick up which was in time at the door of our hotel. Could not have been easier. The day was fun and our 10 person group had an 8 year old and a couple people around 50 years old. Richard made clear no one had to do everything- there was always an easier way (if you don’t want to do the big jumps for example). This excursion was absolutely worth doing!

It was so fun and safe and beautiful. We would love to do it again. Good guides with helpful attitudes.

Had a fantastic day! Son of 9 was quite excited at first, but went home with a big smile. Good guidance, they make it a nice day. You are not forced to do anything, but you are challenged here and there!

My family (2 teens and two adults) had our first via ferrata experience with Franz and we couldn't have asked for a better teacher/guide!The first sign that this was going to be a good experience was when Franz picked us up at our hotel. He noted the location he chose was based on having the climbing in the shade. It's been very hot and sunny here, so just that thoughtfulness made the activity so much better!Franz runs his own business and takes safety seriously. He definitely knows his stuff. Not just basic knowledge of technique and routes, but all of the nuances involved with via ferrata. He made sure each of us felt comfortable while climbing while also challenging us.Teaching comes naturally to Franz and his effortless guidance really makes things easy for first timers. I am sure that even those experienced in via ferrata could learn from him.Last, but not least, Franz is a great human. Super friendly, funny, inquisitive, and knowledgeable. We couldn't recommend him enough. Even my hard to please teens loved the experience. I wish we had more days to do this again with Franz!

We had booked a canyoning tour for my son and me through another provider/platform. Tour was cancelled, but unfortunately this information did not reach us until we called Canyoning-Tour.de.de because no one was at the meeting point. ES was our last day, so there was no possibility to rebook. But (now it’s coming!) Barbara from the provider made the phone glow and within an hour the world's best guide Christof was on site for the private tour. ES was an incredible experience, high jumps, abseiling of up to 33m and slide passages. The teen and his old man were extremely enthusiastic, a day I will not soon forget. Thanks to Barbara and Christof for that, you are great.

This was such a fun experience and I’m very happy I decided to take my son while on vacation. He said it was the highlight of his trip and I also agree! Tom was the best guide, who made sure instructions were clear to both the English and German speakers. He made sure we knew the rules to stay safe and also to enjoy ourselves!

The route was challenging with amazing views. My guide Chris took me through the practice course and got be comfortable with the clips. Then we did the main cable route which takes you along a series of peaks and then hiked back down to the cable car, a full day's adventure.

Awsome experience with a small group. Tour guide was very friendly and spoke good English. Plenty of fun jumps and options not too if you aren't feeling up to it.

Out of 10 days traveling in Europe this was our favorite activity! The guides were great at helping us, teaching, and making sure we had a great time! Not too strenuous and a great adventure for kids! Highly recommend!

We experienced beginner parlours as beginners with dad 60, daughter 16 and daughter 14 all as totally appropriately great. Flexible guide, great free photos of the guide. They advise against own Gopro use, I followed the advice, but regretted it. With chest strap m. E. meaningful. In any case also at the end of October in good weather gigantic great experience.

Unique, enjoyable experience! Stephen was a great, engaging guide. He's been doing it for 20+ years, so really knows his stuff. We felt safe the entire time. A dozen jumps, from 1m to 8m!! A few natural slides, some minimal rock climbing, and scaling the canyon walls, and plenty of soaking/swimming. At one point my daughter said, "I feel like we're in 'The Goonies!' " If you don't want to take one of the larger leaps, you can hike around any of the jumps.Gear included in our costs were the wetsuits, canyon shoes (far superior to sneakers), neoprene socks, and helmet. Stephan takes a ton of photos along the way, which he shares with you after. No need to bring your phone. Our day was overcast, a bit rainy, and didn't get past 75º F (24º C). Our wetsuits kept us very comfortable!This is my second time canyoning, and I'll continue to look for opportunities to go again.We drove ourselves to the rally point - Hotel Obermayr in Ebenau. Easy drive, if you don't want Salzburg pickup.

Our guide Alex led us through this exciting part of the Almbach. We jumped off rocks, climbed and swam. With our equipment that the supplier provided, we remained sure of our feet and did not freeze. The weather also played along. Alex explained some of the geology and history of the place. The jumps into the deep water were an experience.

Great fun, lots of challenging jumps which you can opt out of if too high! Our guide, Lucas was relaxed and encouraging. Beautiful scenery and great way to cool down in the heat.

Stay at Enjoy hotel Bottler in Veldenz April 2026 Hygiene top - meal top - rooms top - location top . Staff very friendly, single manager little tactful and rude. Upon arrival brutal in communication, as well as during our stay. You will receive a letter the first day with all kinds of facts + notification that you must hand in your drinks card on departure , otherwise fine of 75€ . But no one to see on departure. Then I called someone from the staff, who actually didn't know what to do with the drinks menu. When I leave a hotel I expect a good day from the manager. For me, a reason not to go back. Kateline
