Amazing full day tour with knowledgeable local guide. Bambi took us through Jamestown and Yorktown, sharing stories and history along the way. She communicated prior to the tour about where to meet and our interests. Thanks to this tour we learned and experienced so much at both places, rather than spending hours reading museum displays. She also knew all the great family photo spots and provided recommendations while we were visiting elsewhere. Price may seem expensive but it is worth it, if you want to dive deep into all Jamestown and Yorktown have to offer.

Best tour I've ever taken! Bambi is a wealth of knowledge, knows all of the spots to stop and shared the most interesting history and details. She is kind and patient and a lot of fun. She has all of the best photo opportunities, as well. If you want to see Jamestown and Yorktown in a day, you must book with Bambi! Our group of 6 was super comfortable in her vehicle. We will be back!

Much better to go with a Tour Guide. You get so much more information. Plus easier to navigate to and from each place and sights. Well worth the extra cost.

Bambi was a wealth of knowledge regarding Jamestown and Yorktown. It was honestly the best tour we could have booked. Going into the museums and walking through the Jamestown settlement having someone explain what we were looking at and its significance tied it all together. Couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide or experience.

We brought our family (ages 6-55) for a vacation that included a stay in Virginia. We are a history-loving homeschool family, and we knew we wanted to explore as much as we could there in our limited time frame. We decided to book this private tour of Jamestown and Yorktown, and it turned out to be such a great experience.Our tour guide was so accommodating and knowledgeable. Having her drive us made things so much easier, negating any navigation concerns that we otherwise would have had. A seemingly endless supply of bottled water and a wide variety of snacks kept hunger and thirst at bay, enabling even the youngest of the children to maintain interest and attention. She knew the best times to explore each place, the must-see exhibits and locations, the best hands-on demonstrations, the questions we might not know to ask, and her personal knowledge of the area, the people, and the history made the tour such an exceptional experience for our family.The whole tour was phenomenal, and well worth the price. We enthusiastically recommend this tour to anyone who wants to get the most out of their visit.

My grandson liked the Native American exhibit and the ships the best. But all of the trip was interesting.

The BEST tour I have ever been on. Bambi was a wealth of knowledge on American History. She explained the order of events in such way that it was easy to understand. Any questions we asked she was able to answer. Comfortable car which she provided a large variety of snacks and waters. She guided us through the museums so that we saw the high points, and knew were to be to and at what time to avoid the groups of school children. She made sure we were first on the Susan Constant ship before the crowds arrived. She also knew exactly what time the rifle and cannon demonstrations took place so that we would not miss a thing.

Bambi, tour guide was terrific…lots of information was provided and with enough visit time for each location. She enlisted local museum guides who she knew had terrific information as well. Comfortable and very clean vehicle ride too. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for such a tour!

It was a full day but Bambi traveled at our pace. There is so much to take-in but our guide helped us navigate the displays. It would have been impossible for us to cover as much history in one day alone. Bambi knew how to take the best pictures and asked the venue guides the right questions to better inform us.
